5.4. Recursos humanos Human resources
IFEMA concluyó su ejercicio 2015 con un plantilla integrada por 392 trabajadores fijos en su totalidad, y con una paridad de sexos muy elevada, siendo el 51,02% hombres y el 48,98%, mujeres. La edad media de la plantilla en este período se situó en los 46 años, con un perfil profesional altamente experimentado en la actividad que viene desarrollando la Institución. En este ejercicio, el área de formación continua volvió a ser una vez más uno de los ejes principales de actuación de la política de Recursos Humanos de IFEMA, al alcance de todos los componentes de la plantilla. En total, se dedicaron 5.329 horas a la formación de 216 puestos de trabajo. Las áreas que mayor interés demandaron para la formación entre la plantilla fueron los idiomas, manejo comercial de las redes sociales, recursos humanos y gestión de la diversidad, nuevas tecnologías de la comunicación, marketing, eficiencia energética, así como capacitación profesional de las áreas de mantenimiento, en las que se hizo especial hincapié en la seguridad laboral. IFEMA’s staff numbered 392 permanent employees at the close of 2015. There was very high gender parity —51.02% men and 48.98% women. The average age of employees was 46, with their professional profile testifying to vast experience in the Institution’s work. A cornerstone of IFEMA’s human resources policy this year was again continuous training, for which all staff were eligible. In 2015, 216 positions received support in the form of 5,329 hours of training. The training areas that aroused the most interest in the staff were languages; commercial management of social media, human resources and diversity management, new communication technologies, marketing, energy efficiency, together with the professional training of our maintenance departments, where special attention was paid to safety at work.
Flexible payment plans
In 2015, IFEMA consolidated the IFEMA-Flex project for the continuous improvement of the flexible payment system, which has been implemented as part of its staff’s annual remuneration. During the year, around 60% of employees benefited from one of the types to have been established: nursery cheques; private medical insurance for the employee and his/her immediate family; luncheon vouchers; transport cheques and staff training.
Planes de retribución flexible
Durante 2015, IFEMA consolidó el proyecto IFEMA-Flex para la mejora continua del sistema de retribución flexible implantado como parte de la retribución anual de los empleados. En este ejercicio, alrededor del 60% de los trabajadores disfrutó de alguna de las modalidades establecidas: ticket guardería, seguro médico privado para el trabajador y sus familiares directos, ticket restaurante, ticket transporte y formación para los trabajadores.
Conciliation, equality and good practices
Once again in 2015, IFEMA confirmed its status as a Family Responsible Company (efr) after passing the annual audit that reviews and monitors the model. The Institution therefore ensured continuity of the certification it has possessed since 2007, endorsing its respect for the employees with regard to their family and personal responsibilities, which go beyond their professional ones. At the same time, the Institution actively encourages its employees to achieve a balance between their different living environments. In 2015, IFEMA also renewed its Madrid Excelente seal of approval. This contains sections on equality and diversity measures, corporate social responsibility and environmental policy.
