Yolanda Perdomo
Yolanda Perdomo is an expert in destination management, product development, tourism marketing, tourism intelligence and public-private partnership governance models, with more than twenty years of professional experience in the tourism sector at an international level. She has held managerial and senior positions in both the public and private sectors.
She has been Director of Affiliate Members of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Government of the Canary Islands and Managing Director of Turismo de Canarias, the archipelago's promotional body. She has also acted as an international advisor and consultant for the industry in thirty countries on four continents, working with actors of all kinds (United Nations agencies, government bodies, the private sector, SMEs, NGOs, communities and academia).
She holds a degree in International Economics from the American University of Paris and a diploma in Tourism specialising in hotel management from the ULPGC, having completed her training with the Official Master's Degree in Management and Direction of Global Marketing and New Markets from the Camilo José Cela University, and the Executive Programme in Tourism from IESE. She speaks English, French and Italian.
