Belén López
Belén López, who had no artistic background in her family, showed a great sensitivity for performance and a passion for flamenco from an early age. At the age of five she performed in a tribute to Carmen Amaya and, at the age of eight, she took part in a tribute to UNICEF. She moved to Madrid to study at the Dance Conservatory, and her career took off. Between 2001 and 2005, she was prima ballerina in the Arena di Verona and in the company La Corrala de La Danza. In 2004 she won the Premio Nacional de Flamenco Mario Maya, formed her own company and presented shows throughout Europe. In 2005 she received the Premio a la Artista Revelación and in 2016 the Premio Desplante del Festival de Cante de las Minas de La Unión.
