Exhibitors at VETECO, the trade fair organised by IFEMA MADRID, have given a very positive assessment of their participation. This fair was part of the Semana Internacional de la Construcción, which attracted 46,737 professional participants and 560 companies.

The companies present at VETECO 2024 gave a very positive assessment of their participation at the fair organised by IFEMA MADRID last November, including Cortizo, Deceuninck and Cherubini. Their assessments are detailed below:

The company's stand attracted approximately 9,000 visitors. For Deceuninck, this underscores “the vital importance of the trade fair as a strategic meeting point for the window sector to present innovations, stay informed about the latest trends and promote interaction with different audiences.” Cherubini explained that “the team had worked efficiently on the stand and presented their systems and new pathways for the season.”

Javier Figueroa, marketing director of Cortizo, asserts that for the company, VETECO “is one of the sector’s most significant events, not only because of the large number of visitors, but also because of its growing international projection, above all in countries in the Americas and North Africa”. He went on to state: “At the year’s event, we have decided to demonstrate the global dimension of our company by presenting architectural systems that have been engineered to withstand adverse weather conditions, such as hurricanes and tropical storms, which are a common occurrence along the US east coast and in Caribbean nations.”

The company also presented the Jalousies system for the African market. This system has been designed to promote optimal ventilation of different spaces. “This has provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate to international customers our commitment to producing specialised products that meet the diverse needs and requirements of different countries, with a constant focus on achieving optimal performance.” In addition, Cortizo showed other new launches such as the COR Vision EVO, a new version of the traditional COR Vision with a reduced central knot of only 25 mm and perimetrically embedded blades, which was very well received by the visitors.

Figueroa explains that “in recent years, and also at this year’s VETECO, we are committed to minimalist designs, as they are the present and the future of architecture; because of this, our products are increasingly featuring simpler and cleaner lines”. Conversely, he emphasises that “for their company, this fair serves as a platform to showcase the latest product launches to their customers in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.”

 Deceuninck

David Esquitino Martinez, Marketing Manager at Deceuninck, states that Deceuninck's “participation in VETECO 2024 reaffirms the indispensable character of this trade fair as a strategic meeting point for the window sector. This platform is pivotal for our innovations presentation and for monitoring the latest trends. It also facilitates interaction with a range of audiences, including partners, existing and prospective customers, and other relevant industry players.”

According to him, “VETECO stands out for its ability to concentrate a dynamic and collaborative ecosystem in just a few days. It is an unrivalled environment for strengthening relationships, building audience loyalty and establishing new connections, as well as a perfect showcase for communicating both our current proposals and our plans. The fair also allowed us to reaffirm our commitment to sustainability and recycling, which are our business strategy’s fundamental pillars. It has been an ideal setting to conceptualise and share policies in these areas, while taking the opportunity to conduct market research that enriches our vision with opinions, comparisons and valuable recommendations. In summary, it has been an experience that goes beyond the commercial aspect, establishing itself as an essential space for learning, innovation and the sectoral community’s strengthening”.

Esquitino explains that “during VETECO 2024 we have had the privilege of holding meetings with different target audiences, consolidating the fair as a strategic space for exchange and growth. A particular point of interest was our main innovation, ThermoFibra, whose insulating capacity continues to generate considerable curiosity among the attendees.” Likewise, “the presentation of our new iSlide, cota 0 sliding system, generated palpable enthusiasm among the visitors, who appreciated its innovative design and the advantages it brings in terms of accessibility and functionality. However, the undisputed highlight of our participation was the unveiling of an industrialisation project we are currently working on and aspire to develop soon. While only preliminary details were disclosed, the response was notable, underscoring our dedication to ongoing innovation and the sector’s advancement.”

José Manuel Paterna, from Cherubini's Marketing Department, has highlighted the company's participation in VETECO 2024 as a highly successful endeavour. “We were able to work very well on the stand and present our systems and innovations for the new season”. The company held “business meetings at the fair, made contacts, held presentations of new products and held meetings in closer proximity”. Furthermore, “visits were scheduled to finalise collaboration agreements”. The Cherubini stand attracted approximately 60 visitors per day.
