Cortizo will present its innovations in aluminium, PVC and sustainability at VETECO 2024, which will be held within the framework of the International Construction Week, organised by IFEMA MADRID from the 5th to the 8th of November. The Padrón-based company will exhibit at its stand more than thirty window, door, façade and railing systems developed by its R&D&I team in response to the main requirements of today's architecture: minimalist designs and sustainability. In addition, the company will be presenting its anti-fire solutions for the first time at IFEMA MADRID.

Cortizo will have a 635m2 stand at VETECO where it will exhibit more than thirty window, door, façade and railing systems, meeting the main requirements of today's architecture: minimalist designs and sustainability. As regards the latter, Cortizo Infinity, its 100% post-consumer recycled aluminium billet, which is made from aluminium from scrap collected from windows, doors, facades, railings and other products, will be on display. This process is certified by Bureau Veritas and has just received the Environmental Product Declaration, which guarantees a reduction in emissions and energy savings in the production process. Other energy efficiency initiatives such as Passivhauss certified enclosures, insulation systems, and proposals that facilitate obtaining LEED, BREEAM and GREEN certifications will also be on display.

Fire solutions

The company will present for the first time at IFEMA MADRID its anti-fire solutions, such as the new smoke ventilation system (SHEV), designed and conceived to provide a solution in extreme situations such as a fire, compatible with five of its window, façade and roof enclosures. Within the same category will be the Millennium FR door, an aluminium fire door system with fire resistance classification class EI260, allowing buildings to be compartmentalised by sectors and facilitating the evacuation of users.

With regard to PVC innovations, visitors will be able to see window, door, balcony and roller shutter box systems with high thermal and acoustic performance. Among others, there will be the new A78 in a balcony and hinged version, the E70 lift and slide version, and also Passivhaus proposals, such as the A84 Hidden Leaf, certified by the Passivhaus Institute and with a minimalist aesthetic.

In addition to VETECO, the International Construction Week will also include the Piscimad and Smart Doors trade fairs, which will also take place at the same time as Matelec.
