Alejandro Monfort Bernal, from the Quality Department of Control Glass A&S, gave a 'very good' assessment of the company's participation in VETECO 2024. The company's stand “received 250 visits of high value to our business, hosted meetings with potential new customers and machinery suppliers, and also attracted the attention of potential international customers from a wide range of geographical areas that will help us to develop other markets”. VETECO’s next event, which will be held as part of the Semana Internacional de la Construcción, together with CONSTRUTEC, SMART DOORS and PISCIMAD, will take place in 2026.

How do you rate the participation of Control Glass A&S at VETECO 2024?

The balance has been very good. The fair has been a great platform for us to be able to communicate with all members of the sector.

Could you please provide the number of visits and business meetings held during the event?

Approximately 250 visits were registered, with the caveat that only the most significant visits were documented. Furthermore, there was a notable increase in interest from potential clients. I would estimate that approximately 30% of these visits were dedicated to meetings, which totalled about 100 meetings.

What issues or areas did these meetings focus on and what were the outcomes?

A significant proportion of the work and business meetings that were held were with very busy customers. The agenda for these meetings included day-to-day issues and the implementation of ongoing projects. In our sector, it is very important to constantly strengthen relationships and trust with customers. We also receive visits from potential machinery suppliers, with whom we discuss future investments and review expansion projects. Despite the “intimate” nature of our sector, and the fact that the vast majority of us are already acquainted, we also receive visits from potential customers with whom we have no prior contact. These visits can be very fruitful.

What was the main reason for the interest shown by visitors to your stand?

Their primary interest lay in ascertaining our technical capability to undertake highly complex projects. In addition, we had unanticipated visits from potential international customers from a wide variety of geographic areas, which will help us to open up other markets.
