TECMA 2024 strengthens its ties with Portugal
From 18 to 20 June 2024
Collaboration agreement with the Urban Cleaning Association - Partnership for Smarter and Sustainable Cities, ALU
The International Urban Planning and Environment Trade Fair, TECMA 2024, strengthens its ties with Portugal, after reaching a collaboration agreement with the main sectoral business group in the country, the Urban Cleaning Association - Partnership for Smarter and Sustainable Cities, ALU. This agreement will contribute to increasing the already traditional Portuguese business and professional participation in the sector's benchmark fair on the Iberian Peninsula, which will hold its 21st edition, organised by IFEMA MADRID, from 18 to 20 June, within the framework of the 5TH FORUM OF SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES, FSMS. A call that also integrates the International Recovery and Recycling Trade Fair, SRR, and the MADRID CITIES FORUM.
TECMA, which will bring together the best solutions aimed at helping to create more sustainable cities, will once again have a strong international component. Of the some hundred companies that have confirmed their participation in the next edition so far, 14% are international, which in terms of booked space represents a growth of 11% compared to 2022.
In the last edition, which was visited by 10,910 professionals, the international presence represented 9.4% of the visitors to the FORUM OF SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES, coming from 55 countries, with Portugal leading the way with 16% of the total.
