The Semana Internacional de la Construcción, which included the SMART DOORS trade fair, as well as CONSTRUTEC, VETECO and PISCIMAD, attracted 46,737 professional participants and 560 companies, demonstrating its usefulness as a key instrument at the service of the entire construction ecosystem.

The exhibitors at SMART DOORS 2024 have expressed high satisfaction levels with their participation in the fair. They have highlighted the large number of visitors, the quantity and quality of the business meetings held, the international character of the event with the arrival of visitors from all over the world, and the success of holding the event in conjunction with other fairs, due to the large number of synergies, within the Semana Internacional de la Construcción.

The general satisfaction among SMART DOORS exhibitors was notable, with many expressing positive sentiments regarding the substantial visitor number and the calibre of the business meetings held during the event. The managers of Aprimatic, Novoferm and Puertas Padilla gave a positive assessment of their fair participation.

Juan Ramírez, general manager of Aprimatic, gave a very positive assessment of the company's presence at the event, which had a stand that was visited by hundreds of people. He stated that “the fair has become a pivotal meeting point for the automatic door and automation sector, with numerous visits and a significant presence of professionals and customers.” Furthermore, the event’s international character is noteworthy. “We received a number of visits to our stand from the Middle East, North Africa and Central America, which were of great interest to us”. Conversely, the professional emphasised the fair's role in showcasing “very interesting new products” and fostering “growing personal contact, aligning with the latino character”.

Another highlight, according to Ramírez, was “the knowledge exchange through the conferences that were held in parallel to the exhibition and which attracted a large audience, with very interesting technical presentations”. Finally, “the synergy created by SMART DOORS being held alongside other trade fairs, especially VETECO and CONSTRUTEC, as part of Semana Internacional de la Construcción, was a key highlight.”

Javier Pérez Gómez, from Novoferm Alsal, also gave a positive assessment of the event, expressing satisfaction with “the presence of practically the entire sales network at the stand”. He also confirms that “trade fair events continue to be a meeting point with existing customers and potential new distributors”. Conversely, it emphasises “the company's global reach, with customers from South America and Africa”.  He also highlights the success of the event, despite the circumstances surrounding the torrential rain and unstable weather conditions experienced in Valencia in 2024.

He believes that “this event serves as a testament to the forum's standing as a prominent platform for authorities to deliver insightful conferences on legislative and market control matters”. He concludes by stating that “in short, we believe that it is a kind of sectoral festival where we all meet. It is of significant social importance and cannot be replaced by new technologies. It provides a fundamental human aspect to the commercial relationship”.

Lorenzo Parejo, Commercial Director of Puertas Padilla, also expressed his satisfaction for the company's participation in SMART DOORS 2024. He also highlights “the positive balance in terms of visits and believes that the event is consolidating itself as a benchmark in the sector, with ample growth potential in comparison with the decline of similar fairs.” The Puertas Padilla stand at SMART DOORS attracted approximately 400 visitors and facilitated “numerous productive meetings, eight of which proved to be of particular significance and interest.”
