Participants at SMART DOORS confirm the positive impact of the fair on their businesses

Nice Automatismos

Enrique Fernández, Commercial director ofNice Automatismos España, gives a very positive assessment of the last event of SMART DOORS and highlights the ‘large number of visitors’ to the fair. He also adds that “there is a very positive tendency to resume personal contact thanks to this type of event”. The Nice team held “a significant number of business meetings during the show, where customers were primarily interested in the new standby consumer regulations coming into force next year, and the products and solutions that will enable them to comply with them”. There was also a lot of interest in “new solutions for remote management and control of Nice automations to meet the growing end-user demand in this area”.

Fernández points out that the Nice stand received approximately 500 visitors over the four days of the event, “who focused their requests on the new solutions presented at the fair, such as the new Mygo emitters, the new Next Fit Autotorque solar protection operators, etc.’’. In his opinion, “all the visits are important because from all of them we can draw conclusions that help us evolve to improve our solutions and proposals. It is very important for us to have this first-hand information from installers and manufacturers in the sector.”

Doorgate España

 José Fernando Molina, Commercial Director of Doorgate España, also gives a positive assessment of the company's participation in SMART DOORS 2024. “The turnout was satisfactory, with a high presence of professionals from our sector”. During the event, Doorgate presented all its proposals and new products. The company is dedicated to “the manufacture of industrial and domestic doors, mainly sectional, high-speed, roll-up doors, as well as all types of automatisms, always for professional customers in the sector”, as Molina points out.

Martín Vecino

Agustín Martín Vecino, joint administrator of Martín Vecino, believes that his company's participation in SMART DOORS 2024 “has been positive, as in previous years”. The meetings held by his team with visitors to the company's stand “focused on the products we presented at the fair”. And they highlighted, especially, a dozen meetings “which we believe have been very positive”. As for the number of people who visited the company's stand, “we collected cards from 280, although the total number of visitors was much higher”.

IFAM Seguridad

Andoni Ariño Larrañaga, Head of Sales of IFAM Seguridad, also gives a very positive assessment of its participation in SMART DOORS 2024. “We had more visitors than expected at our stand and we noticed a great interest in what we had on display. We presented both our classic products such as padlocks and cylinders, as well as more innovative and technological products such as electronic peepholes, and our latest addition, the IREKI electronic cylinder, which was a total success”. In addition, “we followed up on all these visits and contacts after the fair, and both new customers and orders have come in”.

Ariño explains that “about 90 visitors came to our stand and we met approximately 50-60 people, mostly talking about the IREKI electronic cylinder and what we did was to present and explain the product in depth”. Afterwards, “we collected all the contacts and then sent them all the detailed and documented information by email, as well as prices, discounts and all the information they requested”.

 The next SMART DOORS event

SMART DOORS’s next event, which will be held as part of the Semana Internacional de la Construcción, together with CONSTRUTEC, VETECO and PISCIMAD, will take place in 2026.
