Roger will be presenting automations with linear Direct Drive technology at SMART DOORS
Roger will once again revolutionise the market at the next SMART DOORS fair, presenting the first range of automations with linear Direct Drive technology, the GEARLESS system (gearless motors).
GEARLESS technology completely eliminates the gearbox, the wearing of parts, and even grease and lubrication oils by using only the new digital motor controlled by the innovative control panel based on IPU technology. This results in the elimination of friction noise from the mechanical parts, allowing almost continuous use of the products.
At the previous SMART DOORS fair, Roger already revolutionised the sector by presenting a complete range of BRUSHLESS DIGITAL, brushless three-phase sine automations with magnetic field orientation and native absolute encoder, as well as pioneering and innovative digital electronics capable of guaranteeing continuous cycles with perfect, safe and silent movements, while consuming 90% less energy.
New motors
Now, the automations based on the linear technology of the new TAURUS ROGER DIRECT DRIVE motors have been created to provide a solution to the market need to automate large and heavy sliding doors at high speed, reducing energy consumption by more than 95% compared to a traditional motor; and all this proposing an initial range for sliding doors of 1500-2500-5000 KG at constant speeds ranging from 10 to 60 m./min, ensuring absolute control of power, speed, door position, etc., allowing fast, linear and safe movement of the doors.
Other important innovations that Roger will present at Smart Doors 2022 are the ULK motor for heavy-duty sectional doors, the SLED motor for pedestrian doors, and the TOWER motor, a sliding motor built into a column.
