Nice to aim for exclusive use of recycled plastic by 2025 and net-zero CO2 emissions by 2030.
Nice, a home management solutions specialist, is committed to sustainability through creating an eco-friendly production model. The company currently provides various sustainable solutions and products that enable individuals and enterprises to minimise their consumption and enhance their environmental impact.
As part of its ESG strategy, Nice aims to manufacture its products using only recycled plastic materials by 2025. The commitment has already been achieved for several products, including the Spido600 garage door motor, which is made of 75% reclaimed acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS). This decision is part of Nice's sustainability strategy whereby new products are designed as solutions with a lower environmental impact, paying the utmost attention to the choice of materials and energy consumption.
Nice's latest energy policy outlines the path towards enhancing energy efficiency and environmental awareness across its operations, building management, and product development. Nice aims to halve its CO2 emissions by 2025 and achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030 in adherence with international guidelines to curb global warming to under 2°C. The launch of the new Nice headquarters in Brazil, which functions as a research and development centre for sustainable industrial architecture, is a clear representation of the firm's dedication to the environment.
"As a prominent global player, it is our responsibility to pave the way towards environmental sustainability. We will persist in our efforts to provide our customers with safer and more comfortable homes, placing special emphasis on our most valuable home: the planet," stated Enrique Fernandez, the commercial director for Nice Spain.
