Faced with ever-growing competition from low-cost brands, the company affirms that it has remained committed to product quality and safety to counter the arrival of items on the market that are potentially dangerous to consumers.

Since the company began manufacturing its reduction drives in 1965, it has gained more than 50 years of experience and became part of the Somfy group in 2009. 2020 turned out to be an exceptional year. The company, like many other in the sector, had to cope with a national shutdown in order to tackle the pandemic, which remains a constant battle to date. “This caused us to undertake a complete internal restructuring, with teleworking taking precedence wherever possible, while also prioritising the well-being of our employees, partners and customers. Nevertheless, we've continued to train and prepare alternative options given the current situation”.

Throughout Automatismos Pujol’s track record in this sector, “hundreds of projects and innovations have been developed to meet all of our clients’ needs—it’s thanks to them that the company can involve and improve”.

At the latest Smart Doors Exhibition, Automatismos Pujol presented two new actuators: WINNER 600/240, with two new versions available: one for a 76 shaft and 240 gear and a separate version for a 101 shaft and 280 gear; and a new motor for sectional doors, SPIDER PLUS, which operates at 24 V for intensive use between 650 Nm and 1250 Nm. “There are a wide variety of guide belts and chains available in different lengths. This is further complemented by a controller and receiver that are integrated in the motor, as well as a mechanical limit switch incorporated in the guide”.

Alongside this product line, the company has continued to expand its range and accessories for vertical shutters, ensuring that it remains one of the largest manufacturers on the international stage.

This year, taking advantage of the combined synergies with BFT Iberia, Pujol Group has further invested, where possible, in its range of automatic glass doors, “which are effective, provide privacy and comfort, and contribute towards our overall savings. They're also functional and safe, helping to prevent instances of direct-contact infection. This range also includes the best options for glass sliding doors, telescopic sliding doors and pedestrian access solutions.
