DEA Presents Its Barrier for Large Car Parks
The TRAFIK barrier is designed for installation in large car parks, shopping areas, and industrial sites on accesses with openings up to six metres wide for managing heavy traffic flows for up to 15 thousand movements a day.
DEA’s new TRAFIK barrier is powered by a three-phase 230V motor, for low energy consumption, even with an almost continuous duty cycle. In addition, it has a fast opening (up to 90° in only 1.5 seconds) for quick and fluid vehicle entry and exit. This rapid movement makes TRAFIK the ideal way to avoid vehicle congestion at sensitive and busy accesses.
In combination with the sinusoidal linkage, its inverter technology makes TRAFIK’s stroke precise, fast and super smooth. In fact, the inverter controls the up and down speed of the bar and manages its slowdowns by adjusting the power delivered in each phase with absolute precision, avoiding sudden jerks and abrupt power interruptions.
TRAFIK is a precise and safe electromechanical barrier because it is equipped with a movement reading system that uses a magnetic or digital encoder. The card detects the presence of obstacles and promptly blocks or reverses the bar’s direction of travel.
