The Balearic Islands are offering assistance for renovation projects, which includes the installation of enclosures.
The Government of the Balearic Islands has extended the deadline for applying for aid for the energy renovation of homes and residential buildings until 31 December 2024. The subsidies enable various actions to be taken, such as modifying enclosures, changing windows, or air-conditioning systems.
The Government of the Balearic Islands' Regional Ministry of Housing, Territory, and Mobility has extended the deadline for applying for aid to renovate energy in housing and residential buildings, financed by the NextGenerationEU Funds. The deadline, which ended on 31 December last year, has been extended for an additional year.
Programme 3 provides aid for rehabilitation actions at the building level, Programme 4 provides aid for actions to improve energy efficiency in housing, and Programme 5 provides aid for the preparation of the book of the existing building for renovation and the drafting of rehabilitation projects.
The subsidy scheme covers up to 80% of the investment in residential buildings and up to 40% of the investment in dwellings. It allows for various actions to improve or renovate dwellings and single-family or multi-family buildings. These actions include modifying enclosures, changing windows, or replacing fossil-fuel air-conditioning systems with renewable energy alternatives. They are also intended for drafting building books or technical renovation projects.
