The 10th edition of SIMO EDUCACIÓN opens, showcasing the innovation that is reshaping the future of learning
The Salón Internacional de Tecnología para la Enseñanza (International Exhibition of Educational Technology and Innovation) was opened by Abelardo de la Rosa Díaz.
The EdTech sector is getting together, with more than 140 companies and a comprehensive lineup of congresses with more than 60 activities and almost 100 expert educators from 19 to 21 November.
SIMO EDUCACIÓN, Salón Internacional de Tecnología para la Enseñanza (International Exhibition of Educational Technology and Innovation), opened this morning and was opened by Abelardo de la Rosa Díaz, Secretary of State for Education, Emilio Viciana Duro, Minister of Education, Science and Universities of the Community of Madrid, and Ana Ramírez de Molina, Deputy Minister of Universities, Research and Science of the Community of Madrid.
Organised by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with EDUCACIÓN 3.0, the event will take place for the tenth time from 19 to 21 November in Hall 5 of the Recinto Ferial. With 92 direct exhibitors and the participation of nearly 140 companies, it brings together a wide array of stakeholders in the EdTech sector, including recognised technology brands, educational material distributors, platform and app developers, as well as companies specialising in robotics and programming.
Under the motto 'Technology that Inspires Educational Transformation', the fair combines a trade exhibition with an extensive congress programme that includes over 60 lectures, workshops, and round table discussions. Nearly 100 experts will address topics such as the use of artificial intelligence in teaching, student mental health, and responsible digital education, among others that define the present and future of education.
Among the activities, on 20 November, the Directors' Conference will take place, where, with the support of Google for Education, the role of educational leadership in innovation will be analysed. At 19.30, the 12th Awards for Educational Innovation will be held, an event during which the winning entrepreneurial projects of SIMO IMPULSO will also be unveiled. SIMO INSPIRA also returns with its motivational talks for teachers and the traditional awards ceremony for innovative experiences.
Regarding institutional participation, INTEF is organising sessions on open educational resources and AI and will certify ten hours of attendance for ten hours of continuous training, also highlighting the participation of the Education Councils of Castilla y León, Extremadura, Galicia, Asturias, and the Canary Islands.
In addition, the VIP Lounge of SIMO EDUCACIÓN is sponsored by Microsoft, which will serve as a networking hub for directors, speakers, and authorities.
From today until Thursday, 21 November, SIMO EDUCACIÓN solidifies its position as a meeting point to promote innovation, exchange, and educational transformation, driving inclusive solutions that address the challenges of the 21st century.
