SIMO EDUCACIÓN launches a new edition of IMPULSO, the support platform for educational entrepreneurship
Organised by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with EDUCACIÓN 3.0, SIMO EDUCACIÓN will take place from 19 to 21 November in Hall 5 of the Recinto Ferial.

SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2024, the International Salon of Educational Technology and Innovation, set to be held from 19 to 21 November, welcomes a new edition of SIMO EDUCACIÓN IMPULSO. This platform aims to highlight and support business initiatives and start-ups that develop innovative, technology-based projects with significant potential applications in the educational sector.
This is how SIMO EDUCACIÓN, organised by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with EDUCACIÓN 3.0, supports educational entrepreneurship. Among all proposals submitted by 16th October, a panel of professionals will conduct a selection process based on criteria such as technological innovation, novelty, potential application, and impact. The results will be announced on 31 October.
Business projects and start-ups that meet the following conditions may participate:
Their products, solutions, and services are aimed at the educational sector and have a technological foundation.
New start-ups must have been established after 1 January 2024, although business projects without an established company may also participate.
The projects and start-ups selected for IMPULSO will participate in SIMO EDUCACIÓN in person, also benefiting from the professional networking opportunities provided by the event, as well as the visibility ensured by the fair's communication channels. Additionally, the SIMO EDUCACIÓN IMPULSO Awards will be granted to the most outstanding proposals, as determined by the expert panel conducting the selection.
SIMO EDUCACIÓN IMPULSO: support and visibility for educational entrepreneurship
With this initiative, SIMO EDUCACIÓN rewards and offers selected projects with the opportunity to participate in a joint stand that will allow them to present their innovative solutions and engage with professional contacts.
In addition, the Impulso Awards will be held, awarded by a panel of experts in technology and entrepreneurship across three categories:
Jury Award, given to the project that is rated highest overall in terms of technological innovation, novelty, and potential application in the educational sector. The winner will receive a stand in the 'SHOW UP!' area for entrepreneurs at the next edition in 2025. The prize includes the promotion of the winning project and/or company for 2024 during the closing of SIMO EDUCACIÓN, through an article featured on the Educación 3.0 website.
SEK Lab Award for the Best Business Model, which consists of a fast track for direct entry into SEK Lab – a vertical accelerator in education – offering six months of acceleration, training, mentoring, customer contacts, and a demo day.
Madri+d Award for the Best Investment Opportunity, which provides a fast track to present the project at the next Madri+d investment forum before more than 50 potential investors.
