OneUP, the water safety system of the future
Leonar Creations has designed OneUP, a portable flotation device that automatically activates and inflates into a life jacket when it comes into contact with water. It has a lightweight and compact design, making it easy and practical to carry.
With the goal of creating a safety network around the globe, Leonar Creations SL created OneUP, “which has arrived to become an innovative, everyday object to accompany us in our leisure activities”, explains the company. It's an “ground-breaking object and a revolutionary life-saving solution that will change the concept of water safety as we know it”. OneUP is a portable flotation device that automatically activates and inflates to form a life jacket when it comes into contact with water. It has a lightweight and compact design, making it easy and practical to carry.
The purpose of OneUP is “to create a new way of thinking about safety, significantly reduce the number of drowning deaths, create a user-rescuer concept and become an essential part of our water activities”.
Beach safety
The company continued by stating “in an effort to reduce drowning and to provide greater support in water environments, we’ve created the OneUP Totem”. It is a stand-alone pole that is 188 cm high, 30 cm in diameter and weighs 48 kg. “Its primary function is to store several OneUP devices in its interior so that they can be used by anyone in an emergency situation”.
What’s more, it can recharge using solar energy thanks to its solar panel, meaning its stand-alone functionality is practically unlimited. “The OneUP Totem is the perfect solution to provide additional drowning protection to everyone who enjoys aquatic environments, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, even in remote locations”.
