SICUR 2026 marks 25 years of excellence in comprehensive security, taking place from 24 to 27 February 2026
Organised by IFEMA MADRID, the International Security Exhibition aims to strengthen its scale and industry representation while engaging a younger audience. AES assumes the presidency of the newly established SICUR Organising Committee, with APROSER, TECNIFUEGO, and ASEPAL holding the three vice-presidencies.
SICUR, the International Security Exhibition organised by IFEMA MADRID, is gearing up for its 25th edition, set to take place from 24 to 27 February 2026. This milestone event aims to strengthen its scale and industry representation while engaging a younger audience, highlighting career opportunities, and connecting emerging talent with the comprehensive security sector.
This announcement follows the inaugural meeting of the newly established Organising Committee, led by President Paloma Velasco, Executive Director of AES (Spanish Security Industry Association). The three vice-presidencies are held by TECNIFUEGO (Spanish Association for Specialist Fire Protection), APROSER (Private Security Industry Association in Spain), and ASEPAL (Personal Protective Equipment Industry Association).
In addition, the Organising Committee includes representatives from key associations covering both supply and demand in the security sector, alongside official organisations and security forces. This broad participation underscores the sector’s strong support for SICUR and forms a comprehensive working team, ensuring the event accurately reflects the needs and perspectives of the entire comprehensive security industry.
Following SICUR 2024, which reinforced its position as a European leader with over 46,000 professionals from 80 countries and 654 exhibitors, SICUR 2026 announces a structured exhibition layout featuring key areas: Occupational Safety, Fire & Emergency Safety, and Security. The event will also be enriched by a dynamic programme of specialised conferences at FORO SICUR, SICUR CYBER and EXO CORNER. Moreover, as in every edition, SICUR Innovation will take place, highlighting exhibitors' R&D efforts and showcasing the most cutting-edge products and services dedicated to advancing security.
International Expansion of the SICUR Brand
As part of IFEMA MADRID's strategic commitment to internationalisation, ESS+ will host its third consecutive edition under the powered by SICUR label from 27 to 29 August 2025 at Corferias, the exhibition centre in Bogotá, Colombia. The Madrid institution will actively participate in the international promotion and marketing of the exhibition, leveraging its extensive expertise in organising SICUR, the International Security Exhibition, which has been held by IFEMA MADRID since 1981.
