Turnover in the Fire Protection Sector in 2021 Rose To €2,489 million
According to TECNIFUEGO, active protection turnover reached €1,559 million, of which 43% was in manufacturing and 57% in installation & maintenance. Passive protection stood at €930 million (26% manufacturing, 74% installation & maintenance).
The Fire Protection sector had a total turnover of €2,489 in 2021, according to TECNIFUEGO, the Spanish Association of Fire Protection Companies. By segment, active protection turnover reached €1,559 million, of which 43% was in manufacturing and 57% in installation & maintenance.
Passive protection turnover amounted to €930 million, 26% in manufacturing and 74% in installation & maintenance.
According to the employers’ association, the number of companies in the fire protection sector remained stable, with 900 companies employing more than 20 workers, 18,000 people.
