Copersa presents the Turbinator: a unique foam dispenser
Copersa, official distributor of the Turbinator in Spain, presents this foam dispenser that uses the same water from the fire-fighting system as a source of energy, without creating any loss of water. It is designed to mix the concentrated foam precisely with freshwater or sea water and is suitable for use in both fixed systems and mobile units.
The engine and pump are coupled and integrated in a single compact housing and both are positive displacement rotating devices, which means that for every revolution of the water motor a fixed volume of water passes through the dispenser and with each revolution of the pump a fixed volume of foam is injected. This way the right mix of water and foam is obtained, regardless of the operating pressure of the system.
The installation requirements are simple and the Turbinator is available in different sizes, so it can adapt to new or existing facilities and systems. The Turbinator works with a wide range of flows and tolerates working pressure of up to 16 bars. It's suitable for high and low viscosity foam, with a dosage range of 1% to 3%. It is also built from corrosion-resistant materials.
The basic equipment can be adapted for the most common applications, while customised equipment can also be developed for specific requirements.
Quality Control
Every Turbinator is subject to an automated and standardised process on a testing bank to perform exhaustive quality control at the full range of operating flows and pressures. All the data compiled form part of the complete report delivered with every Turbinator.
The Turbinator has a CE mark, ATEX Classification {Ex II 2G Ex h IIC T6 Gb (T5:Ta-X)} and complies with European Regulation EN-13565-1.
