Bosch Security Systems to Open an Artificial Intelligence Laboratory
Bosch Security & Safety Systems and the City of Seville will conduct a pilot project on artificial intelligence applied to tourism. They will set up a laboratory for developing technology solutions to analyse pedestrian flows and make agile decisions to improve the visitor experience and ensure harmony with residents.
Bosch Security & Safety Systems and the City of Seville have signed a collaboration agreement to carry out a pilot project, a pioneer in Europe, using artificial intelligence for managing tourist flows in the Andalusian capital. They will set up a laboratory to use technology solutions for automatically analysing pedestrian flows and making agile decisions to improve the visitor experience and ensure harmonious coexistence between visitors and residents in the city’s most popular tourist areas.
This laboratory will be located in Seville’s Conference and Exhibitions Centre (FIBES) and will design, test, validate, adapt and improve technological solutions. Its tasks will include designing predictive models of behaviour, analysing patterns and consumption, finding cost savings missed by conventional methods, improving tourist services through greater personalisation, and providing real-time information to make relevant decisions quickly and effectively.
