Base Protection will present at SICUR a glove with virucide and a seamless boot.
Base Protection will launch two innovative occupational safety products at SICUR 2024. First there’s MaxiDex with ViroSan™ 19-007, a glove with an integrated virucide in its coating, and then Nautilus, a seamless waterproof boot with a microfibre cut that requires no membrane.
Visitors to the Base Protection stand (6A08) at the International Security Exhibition, SICUR 2024, organised by IFEMA MADRID from 27 February to 1 March, will be able to get a first-hand look two of the company's innovative new products, as part of the exhibition's Innovation Gallery.
First up is MaxiDex with ViroSan™ 19-007, a technology-packed hybrid glove that combines the best of mechanical handling gloves and disposable gloves to protect hands. It features a virucide integrated into the glove coating using the patented ViroSan™ technology platform, designed to prevent the proliferation of viruses deposited on the glove and has also been successfully tested against NL63, a human strain of Covid. It can be washed three times at 40°C and features AD-APT cooling technology to keep hands cool, dry and productive.
The company's stand will also showcase NAUTILUS, a new seamless waterproof boot from Base Protection's Hygiene footwear line, designed for work in humid and very humid environments. It offers a perfect balance between protection and comfort, ensuring total waterproofing on the inside. The main characteristic of this model lies in the construction of its upper in high quality microfibre, made in a single piece all around the upper and heat-sealed at the back of the heel. A completely seamless boot for total waterproofing.
