The 25th anniversary of Salón Look attracts more than 42,000 trade professionals
The International Image and Integral Aesthetics Exhibition came to a successful conclusion after three busy days of business, trade fair activities and a comprehensive training offer that took centre stage at this 25th-anniversary event.
A total of 42,151 trade professionals were able to spend three enjoyable days at Salón Look, The International Image and Integral Aesthetics Exhibition. This time, the fair welcomed participants from more than 250 companies representing more than 500 brands from 17 different countries, such as Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, China, Colombia, South Korea, France, Italy, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Switzerland, who shared and learned about new developments within the universe of image and integral aesthetics, appliances, hairdressing, barbering, cosmetics, makeup and nails.
The results as regards the professional business were seen as positive at the end of the fair. This is according to the fair's director, Julia González, who said, “This has been a truly special event for us and we hope to celebrate another 25 years, and many more, as the most important business platform for this sector in our country. That's why we will continue working to make this the best-rounded fair, both in terms of exhibitors and brands and in the programme of activities.”
During the Salón Look, participants benefited from a high-quality commercial environment conducive to generating new business opportunities and presentations of innovative products, devices and formulas to continue growing in this sector.
Likewise, the programme of activities that accompanied the fair saw extensive support, reinforcing the great efforts made and the large cast of trade professionals who participated in them. Among the different forums, activities and meetings scheduled, the programme brought together more than 5,000 trade professionals who learned and trained at the 15th Aesthetics Congress, Business Meeting, Signature Massages and Masterclasses in Micropigmentation courtesy of Dora Marcano and Eurotouch. In addition, these professionals have been able to enjoy Effervescene, UPP the Show and experience the Naylimpion nail competition, as well as learn about innovations at Speaker Corner, Look Focus and the Barber Ring.
In addition to these activities, the International Buyers Programme, organised by Stanpa in collaboration with Salón Look and ICEX, resulted in nearly 200 business meetings in the Incoming Mission of International Buyers and Distributors of Cosmetics and Perfumery Products, comprising a delegation of eleven international distribution companies from six countries in the Eastern European region and 40 Spanish perfumery and cosmetics manufacturing companies.
The crowning moment of the 25th anniversary of Salón Look came during the Figaro Awards when David Siero from Salón Siëro was named Spanish hairdresser of the year.
The dates of the 2024 edition of Salón Look have already been announced. It will be held at IFEMA MADRID from 18 to 20 October.
