The event will feature 250 exhibiting companies and over 500 prominent brands across key segments of the industry: Natural Cosmetics, Professional Aesthetics and Equipment, Micropigmentation, Hairdressing and Furniture, Barbering, Nails and Makeup.

As in previous years, Salón Look will promote the internationalisation of the event, renewing its collaboration with ICEX and STANPA for the organisation of an International Buyers programme, welcoming participants from key markets such as Germany, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Romania, and Serbia.

Professional Training and Specialisation

One of the great strengths of Salón Look is its extensive programme of seminars and activities, which have been exceptionally well received, aimed at the training and specialisation of industry professionals. Among other events, there will be Business Meetings, catwalk shows, and Effervescene, featuring the highly creative collective Experimento No Name, Flapping Wings (champions of the role of women entrepreneurs in the professional beauty sector), and José Urrutia. Alongside them, the spectacular Kemon Fashion Show will take place, culminating in the Catwalk and Fígaro Awards of Spanish Hairdressing on Monday, 21 October. In the realm of Professional Aesthetics, the 16th Congress of Aesthetics and Author Massages will be held. There will also be a new edition of Nailympion Spain. What's more, there will be some fascinating meetings hosted by FANAE, Intercoiffure, The HAIRMBA, Universidad Provalliance, Universidad de la Imagen, and Fundación Fundesmo. The Home of the L3vel3 Brand Masterclass will take place in the Barbering area.

Record Growth of 12.1% in the beauty and personal care sector in Spain

According to Stanpa, the National Association of Perfumery and Cosmetics, the sector achieved record growth of 12.1% in 2023, positioning it alongside significant sectors contributing to economic expansion, such as tourism (13.1%) and catering (11%). These figures reflect a growing trend for the third consecutive year, particularly focused on skincare (+14.3%), which now accounts for one-third of total consumption, with a notable increase in sunscreen products of nearly 20%. This growth is evidence of a society where well-being and personal care are rising values, with a deeply rooted and well-balanced culture among consumers and Spanish families. Spain has consolidated its international leadership with €7.7 billion in exports and has cemented its position as the second largest exporter of perfumes, a category that represents 43% of the total.
