The 16th Congress of Aesthetics, a “high-level” event at the leading fair of the Iberian Peninsula, Salón Look 2024
The Congress, highly regarded among aesthetics professionals, will take place on Saturday, 19 October, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, featuring an extensive programme of content.
Salón Look, the image and comprehensive aesthetics fair organised by IFEMA MADRID, will host a new edition of the Congress of Aesthetics from 18 to 20 October 2024. The congress will take place on Saturday, 19 October, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. This very special edition will expand on the topics covered in previous years.
Salón Look, the best and most comprehensive showcase of brands and companies in the beauty sector, offers professionals the best platform to access the latest innovations in the industry, while also providing opportunities for training and high-quality networking with aestheticisms and health professionals from all over Spain and other countries around the world.
The 16th Congress of Aesthetics will address the latest techniques in professional aesthetics. The event, hosted by model and presenter Paloma Lago, will feature the following content:
an interesting discussion between Concha Vela, President of FANAE; Carmen Vázquez, Secretary of FANAE; and Ezequiel Olmos, head of the technical department at Omologic, Advisory on CE Marking of Aesthetic Equipment. They will explain the pressing topics related to Annex 16 Regulation, the new legislation on CE Marking.
A presentation titled “How to Multiply Treatment Results in the Treatment Room by Combining Different Technologies and Protocols” will be offered by Cecilia Castro, a qualified physiotherapist and kinesiologist, an expert in the field of proven renown.
Retinol and bakuchiol will be the focus of the discussion, explained through the differences and effects they have on the skin.
María Muñoz Benavides, director of the programme “Get Gorgeous, Feel Better” from the Stanpa Foundation, will speak about skincare associated with oncological treatment.
Dermatofunctional physiotherapist, Mª José Bordera, will give a presentation titled “Cellulite, Lipoedema, and Localised Fat: Identification and New Approaches in Conservative Treatment.”
There will also be an exhibition of a successful model in the professional aesthetics sector: an inspirational conversation aimed at empowering and reinforcing our daily work Marta García and Estefanía Murillo, founders of Manüia.
A talk titled “8 Essential Tips for Aesthetics Professionals: Learn to Manage Your Business Finances in a Simple and Effective Way” will be delivered by David Rodelas, an international trainer in beauty business management.
There will be a presentation on “Dermatology, a Specialty Created for Health and Beauty Professionals: A New Profitable Service for You and Your Clients,” led by Paloma García Mediero, a pharmacist who teaches as a dermatologist at the Fundesmo Foundation, along with Dr Sandra Duque, an expert in aesthetic medicine and specialist in hair transplants.
Victor Camon will take the floor with the presentation “Double Your Time and Improve Profitability.” Camon, an international coach and self-described "homo creativo," specialises in personal and professional development.
