This Privacy Policy is applicable to the processing of Personal Data that you provide to IFEMA MADRID by any means, either through the Website (www.ifema.es) , when you contract a service with the Institution as an Exhibitor at a Fair or when accessing the fairgrounds as a visitor to a fair, among other cases.

You must read the information on data protection that is presented below, regarding the use and purpose of the data provided, as well as the procedure for exercising and attending to your rights recognized by the matter of protection of personal data.

  1. Data controller of the processing of your personal data

    This Website offers the possibility of registering as an Exhibitor, pre-registering in fairs and events as a Visitor, contracting services, attending events, requesting information, participating in activities, etc., for which the User must complete the questionnaires provided indicating the data necessary for its management. Registration by this means may require the communication by the User of personal data for it to be effective. In addition, we inform you that, although the completion of the forms is voluntary, sometimes it may be necessary to register for certain events or activities.

    IFEMA MADRID is committed to the security of its users' data. When we ask you to fill in the personal information fields with which you can be identified, we do so ensuring that it will only be used in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy and in relation to the purposes for which the data is collected. However, IFEMA MADRID reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy if deemed necessary.

  1. Personal information collected and processed

    Our Website may collect data and information of a personal nature, for example: name and surname, and contact information such as your address or email.

    • Identification data: name and surname, ID number, age (in some cases).
    • Contact information: postal address, email, telephone number (landline or mobile).
    • Contractual data: data related to contractual operations in order to manage the products and services purchased.
    • Browsing data: IP address, domain through which you access the Website and activity on the Website, browsing habits, device identification, browser type and information about your interests, preferences and needs.

    In the event that there is a contractual relationship or the reason for the relationship is to manage the User's registration in a contest or event, it is necessary that you provide us with your personal data, since, otherwise, we would not be able to comply with the obligations derived from it. of the service or other legal responsibilities to which IFEMA MADRID is subject.

    The  purpose  of the processing answers the question for what the person in charge of the processing (the data controller) will use the personal data, and the  legitimacy  informs about the legal basis that allows the processing of your data to be lawful and in accordance with the data protection regulations.

    Regarding the conservation of your data, IFEMA MADRID establishes certain periods during which it is necessary, and sometimes obligatory, to preserve it before proceeding to its deletion.

    In this sense, IFEMA MADRID processes the data collected for the following purposes and during the following time periods:

    4.1. Registration to attend Fair, contest, event or activity organized by IFEMA MADRID as a professional or public visitor.

    IFEMA MADRID needs to manage your personal data in order to allow ypu Access to the Fair. The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data provided is the contractual relationship arising from the purchase of a ticket to attend any fair or event, namely the provision of a service by IFEMA MADRID (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
    We will keep the data provided for the time necessary to fulfil the contractual relationship and, in any case, during the statute of limitations periods required by current legislation. After the conclusion of a three-year period from the holding of the fair without your participation in subsequent editions, your data will be blocked in our systems in case it is necessary to comply with any legal provision or administrative and/or legal requirement. Subsequently, your data will be stored anonymously for purely statistical purposes regarding attendance at the fair or event you visited.

    Likewise, we inform you that in some specific fairs IFEMA MADRID may act as co-organizer together with another entity. In these cases, the responsibility for the personal data collected may be shared, although the interested party will always be informed of this prior to collecting their data.

    4.2. Participate in a fair or contest as an Exhibitor

    IFEMA MADRID needs to process the personal data of the Exhibitors in order to manage the contractual relationship with the Exhibitors of the corresponding Fair, fair or event. The legal basis that allows the processing of the data provided is the existence of a contractual relationship between IFEMA MADRID and the Exhibitor.

    IFEMA MADRID will keep the data provived for rhe time necessary ro comply with the contractual relationship and, in any case, during the prescription periods required by current legislation. After the conclusion of a three-year period from the holding of the fair without your participation in subsequent editions, your data will be blocked in our systems in case it is necessary to comply with any legal provision or administrative and/or judicial requirement. Only in case of express consent by the exhibitor, the data may be kept for a period of time longer than that legally established. Subsequently, after said statute of limitations has ended, your data will be stored anonymously for purely statistical purposes on fair attendance. In any case, the specific contracting conditions must be adhered to.

    4.3.  Hybrid and virtual fairs

    IFEMA MADRID will process the professional and personal data of Exhibitors and professional Visitors in order to manage and enable access to virtual or hybrid fairs (where there are both face-to-face and virtual meetings) for which they have voluntarilyregistered using our forms. This will allow attendance at the fairgrounds on the days on which the fair is held in person, as well as access to the platform called LiveConnect.

    The legal basis for processing the data provided on the LiveConnect platform is the contractual relationship with exhibitors and professional visitors that arises when registering for an IFEMA MADRID trade fair, as well as the acceptance of the 'IFEMA MADRID Platform Conditions of Use', which is done the first time you access the platform.

    Live Connect provides the opportunity to interact with other users by participating in forums, accessing the content published by its participants (exhibitors, visitors, speakers, general public, depending on the format) or participating in any of the activities created for the group in question.

    After registration, each user can complete their profile with other personal data such as alias, phone number, ID number, country, date of birth, image (you can upload a photo voluntarily), place of residence and interests. Each user will be free to decide what personal information they want to complete within the profile of the company they work for and also decide at any time whether or not to display it to the rest of the LiveConnect members. The platform also allows users to meet people with whom they share interests, as well as to contact each other through messages if the user freely decides to activate this function.

    IFEMA MADRID will keep the data provided for the time necessary to comply with the contractual relationship and, in any case, during the statute of limitation periods required by legislation in force. After the conclusion of a three-year period from the holding of the last fair at which the exhibitor or professional visitor participated without having participated in subsequent editions, their data and professional information will be blocked in our systems, in case it is necessary to comply with any legal provision or administrative and/or legal requirement. Only in the case of express consent by the exhibitor or professional visitor (for example, if they have voluntarily signed up to receive newsletters or periodic commercial communications), the data may be kept for a period of time longer than that established by law. Subsequently, after the end of the statute of limitations period, your data will be stored anonymously for purely statistical purposes regarding attendance at the fair.

    At fairs in which IFEMA MADRID acts as co-organizer together with another entity, the responsibility for the personal data collected will be shared, although the interested party will always be informed of this prior to collecting their data. In any case, the specific contracting conditions must be adhered to.

    4.4. Sending newsletters and commercial communications by email or equivalent means

    If you have given us your express consent, IFEMA MADRID will periodically send you newsletters and advertising communications by email or equivalent means in which you will be informed about contests, activities, events, special offers, new products and other information related to IFEMA MADRID services. Regarding equivalent means, we refer to the use of short text messages (SMS), instant messaging systems, as well as contact by telephone. These commercial communications may incorporate advertising content about IFEMA MADRID activities, events and services or third parties, which may be sponsors, exhibitors, collaborators or third-party companies that hire IFEMA MADRID digital advertising services, all of them related to fairs, activities and events that are organized at IFEMA MADRID.

    The sponsors are companies with which IFEMA MADRID has reached a collaboration agreement through which it is intended to work together for the promotion of the Institution or of a specific fair, event or product. Thus, thanks to these sponsorship agreements, IFEMA MADRID incorporates sponsor content into its communication elements of the sponsored event or fair, especially if said content translates benefits for IFEMA MADRID customers. A list of our sponsors can be found both on the institutional website of IFEMA MADRID and on the web pages of our events where, respectively, ongoing sponsorships are listed and updated.

    These emails or messages will be sent to the address that you have provided us when you gave us your consent to send it and you can withdraw it at any time and free of charge.

    The legitimacy for the processing of your personal data is given by your express consent for IFEMA MADRID to proceed with such sending and will remain in force until you withdraw your consent, which you can request at any time.

    4.5. Participate  in sweepstakes and contests

    IFEMA MADRID will process your personal data in order to manage the draw or contest in which you have freely registered.. The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data provided is the consent of the data subject , which is received when participating.

    IFEMA MADRID will keep the data provided for the time necessary for the purposes of fines for which they were collected, as long as their deletion is not previously requested and, in any case, during the prescription periods required by current legislation. The data will be kept in accordance with the provisions of the conditions or legal bases of each contest that you authorized and, in any case, will be deleted or modified at your request through the rights exercise procedure explained below.

    Likewise, we inform you that in some contests and raffles IFEMA MADRID may act as co-organizer together with another entity. In these cases, the responsibility for the personal data collected may be shared, although the interested party will always be informed of this prior to collecting their data.

    4.6. Sale of public tickets

    IFEMA MADRID will process your personal data in order to manage the sale of public tickets, as well as to allow you access to the Fair, contest or event of your choice.
    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data provided is the contractual relationship arising from the purchase of a ticket to attend any fair or event, namely, the provision of a service by IFEMA MADRID (Article 6.1.b GDPR).

    IFEMA MADRID will keep the data provided for the time necessary to fulfil the contractual relationship and, in any case, during the statute of limitations periods required by current legislation. Subsequently, after the end of the statute of limitations period, your data will be stored anonymously for purely statistical purposes regarding attendance at the fair or event.

    In the event that you have given us express consent to keep your data for a longer period of time, IFEMA MADRID will keep them as long as the consent is not withdrawn by the interested party through the rights exercise procedure explained below.

    4.7. Potential Exhibitors and Visitors. Contact details of individuals

    IFEMA MADRID processes the personal data of potential Exhibitors and Trade Fair Visitors in order to manage commercial relations with these people who are interested in participating in IFEMA MADRID trade fairs in the future.

    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data provided is the consent of the interested party, the execution of pre-contractual services and the legitimate interest in locating and contacting a professional.

    IFEMA MADRID will keep the contact details provided for as long as they are necessary to maintain a pre-contractual relationship with you. Subsequently, they will be deleted, in general, except if it is necessary to keep them to comply with any legal provision or administrative and/or judicial requirement. In the event that you have given us express consent to keep your data for a longer period of time, IFEMA MADRID will keep them as long as the consent is not withdrawn by the interested party through the rights exercise procedure explained below.

    4.8. Service “Meeting Point”

    IFEMA MADRID processes personal data of people who voluntarily decide to use the "Meeting Point" service, designed to put Exhibitors and Professional Visitors in contact.
    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data provided is the consent of the interested party.

    The personal data provided will be kept as long as you do not withdraw your consent regarding this processing, all without prejudice to your right of deletion or opposition and, in any case, during the prescription periods required by current legislation. You can consult the detailed conditions of the service in the Exhibitors Area.

    4.9. Servicio “B2B, Agenda de Reuniones”

    IFEMA MADRID processes personal data of people who voluntary decide to use the “B2B, Meeting Agenda” service, designed to put Exhibitors and Professional Visitors in contact.

    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data provided is the consent of the interested party.

    The personal data provided will be kept as long as you do not withdraw your consent regarding this processing, all without prejudice to your right of deletion or opposition and, in any case, during the prescription periods required by current legislation. You can consult the detailed conditions of the service in the Exhibitors Area.
    4.10. Atención al cliente por vía telefónica

    IFEMA MADRID processes personal data of people who call the "Customer Service" phone number, who contact us through the form on the institutional website or our Chatbot. The purposes may be diverse, such as managing your queries and, if requested, informing about contests, activities, events, special offers, new products and any other information related to the services of IFEMA MADRID and/or its sponsors and that may be relevant to you. 

    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data provided is the legitimate interest of location and contact.

    IFEMA MADRID will keep the data provided for the time necessary in relation to the indicated purposes and, in any case, during the prescription periods required by current legislation. The data will be deleted later, except if it is necessary to keep them to comply with any legal provision or administrative and/or judicial requirement.

    4.11. Management of claims and incidents that occur within the fairgrounds (includes fair workers and visitors)

    IFEMA MADRID could process certain personal data (sometimes sensitive) in the event that, unfortunately, an accident or incident occurs within the fairgrounds and the injured person needs any type of medical assistance.

    In these cases, the legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data of the injured person is the legitimate interest of the person in charge in order to provide healthcare and manage the consequences of the incident or accident.

    In relation to the foregoing, it is reported that IFEMA MADRID may be forced to provide certain data and information to the corresponding insurance companies in order to manage the effects derived from the incident and, on some occasions, IFEMA MADRID may be forced to to inform the competent authorities.

    IFEMA MADRID will keep the data provided for the time necessary in relation to the indicated purposes and, in any case, during the prescription periods required by current legislation. The data will be deleted later, except if it is necessary to keep them to comply with any legal provision or administrative and/or judicial requirement.

    4.12. Video surveillance

    IFEMA MADRID will process the personal data of the people who access the venue (specifically, their image) in order to guarantee the safety of people, property and facilities.
    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data is its legitimate interest regarding the security of the venue, as well as that of all the people who are in it.
    IFEMA MADRID will keep the images obtained through the video surveillance systems for a maximum period of one (1) month from the moment they were captured. After this period, they will be deleted in general, except if it is necessary to keep them to comply with any legal provision, administrative and/or judicial requirement or exceptional situation that legitimizes the conservation of the recordings for a period of time greater than that legally established.

    4.13. Environment recording of events, fairs and activities.

    The entire venue may be recorded by IFEMA MADRID, the media and, where appropriate, companies sponsoring the events that take place in order to obtain ambient images of them and their activities. In addition, it is reported that these images can also be used for promotional and/or commercial purposes by IFEMA MADRID and the event itself. In relation to the sponsors, you will be able to find out more details on the website of each Event or contest.

    The captured images, which could include the voice and/or image of the attendees, could be processed and disseminated through various means such as their respective websites, social networks or fan pages, and include them as content in TV programs or content for applications of devices (e.g., smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, 3D glasses).

    IFEMA MADRID will process the images captured, as the person responsible for the purposes indicated by virtue of its legitimate interest.

    4.14. Recording video sessions of interviews, sessions, webinars and events

    On some occasions, IFEMA MADRID conducts interviews or organises workshops, webinars and/or sessions in which the people who participate may be recorded and, therefore, some identifying data such as the image, voice or name of the speakers will be processed. The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data provided will be the express consent of the speaker. These images will be processed for the purpose you accepted at the time by means of the mandatory authorisation for the transfer of image rights in favour of IFEMA MADRID and will also be kept in accordance with the authorised conditions. In general, the contents generated will become part of IFEMA MADRID's image gallery as part of its historical documentary collection. In any event, speakers may exercise their rights in accordance with the procedure set out below.
    Moreover, IFEMA MADRID will process the personal data of the participants at the sessions and/or committee meetings to enable their access to these events and also to publish the sessions on social media (specifically, the YouTube channel, although others may be included in the future).

    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data provided is express consent, in the case of committee members, and legitimate interest, for sessions with participants.

    IFEMA MADRID will keep the personal data provided for the time necessary to provide access to the video sessions, and during the lapse of time that those videos would be published on the social media.

    Subsequently, the data will be blocked in general, except during the limitation periods of responsibilities required by current legislation or by administrative and / or judicial requirement. Likewise, in the case of consent to send commercial communications, IFEMA MADRID will keep the data as long as it is not withdrawn by the interested party.

    4.15. Suppliers

    IFEMA MADRID needs to process the personal data of its suppliers in order to manage the contractual relationship with them, this being the legal basis.

    IFEMA MADRID will keep the data provided for the duration of the contractual relationship between the parties and, in any case during the prescription periods required by current legislation. Subsequently, the data will be blocked, with the only possibility of accessing it again if it is necessary to keep them to comply with any legal provision or requirement of a public administration.

    4.16. Personal data of bidders

    In the event that IFEMA MADRID calls for public tenders for the provision of a service or the purchase of a product, the Institution will process the personal data of employees and contact people of companies that decide to participate in these tenders. The purpose of the processing is to manage the pre-contractual relationship to determine which company is the winner of the competition and which company will end up providing a service to IFEMA MADRID.

    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process this data is the consent of the interested party and the execution of pre-contractual services.

    The personal data provided will be kept for the duration of the pre-contractual relationship, all without prejudice to the right of suppression or opposition and, in any case, during the prescription periods required by current legislation. If the data is no longer necessary to fulfilment the purposes for which it was collected, it will be deleted in general, except if it is necessary to keep it to comply with any legal provision or administrative and/or judicial requirement.

    However, in the event that there is express consent expressed in the tender form by the bidder, your data will be kept for a longer period of time in order to consider you as a possible supplier of IFEMA MADRID in the sector corresponding to your activity. professional

    Regarding the personal data linked to the company that won the tender, these data will be kept for the duration of the contractual relationship with IFEMA MADRID, plus the corresponding prescription periods in accordance with current legislation.

    4.17. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

    4.18. Media and press: accreditation and contacts

    IFEMA MADRID will process the personal data of people linked to the media and the press in order to manage their access to the Fair, contest or event about which the information is going to be covered, as well as the contact between the Institution and these media.

    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data provided is the consent of the interested party, the legitimate interest of IFEMA MADRID regarding the security of the venue, as well as for the purpose of locating and contacting a professional.

    IFEMA MADRID will keep the data provided by people connected to the media until the consent of the data subject is withdrawn.

    4.19. Visit management

    IFEMA MADRID will process the data of the people who access its facilities and offices.

    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data is the legitimate interest of IFEMA MADRID regarding access control and the security of the venue.
    IFEMA MADRID will keep the data provided for a maximum period of (1) one month from the visit, unless required by an administrative and/or judicial authority or legitimate interest for its conservation.

    4.20. Profiling

    Only if you have given us your express consent, IFEMA MADRID may create profiles of the users who register using the forms included on our institutional website, as well as the linked websites of IFEMA MADRID events and fairs and our social media, in order to use them to offer new products and information related to IFEMA MADRID's services that we consider relevant to you.

     These communications will be sent to the address that you provided to us when you gave us your consent to make such shipments and you may withdraw your consent at any time.

    The legitimacy for the processing of your personal data is given by your express consent.

    The personal data provided for the preparation of profiles and authorized by the interested party will be kept until you send a request to IFEMA MADRID withdrawing your consent regarding this processing, all without prejudice to your right of suppression or opposition.

    4.21. Internal complaints channel

    IFEMA MADRID undertakes to always process the personal data received through the Ethics Channel as absolutely confidential and in accordance with the purposes set out in its procedure. It will further adopt the technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee the security of the data and prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, taking into account the state of technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed, all in compliance with the provisions of personal data protection legislation. In addition, the complainant has the possibility to voluntarily decide whether they would like to remain anonymous to IFEMA by ticking a box.

    The legitimate interest for the processing of your data lies in the fulfilment of a legal obligation pursuant to Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights, Law 2/2023 of 20 February, which regulates the protection of persons who report regulatory violations and the fight against corruption, and Law 10/2010 on the Prevention of Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism.

    The transfer of personal data to third parties is not foreseen, unless it is considered that the reported facts could constitute a crime or administrative offence, in which case the competent administrative or legal authority will be notified. No international transfer of data will take place.

    The data of the person making the report will be kept in the Complaints Manager only for the time necessary to decide whether to initiate an investigation into the events reported. Data processed in the course of investigations shall be deleted as soon as the investigations have been completed, unless the measures taken result in administrative or legal proceedings.

    In any case, after a maximum of six months have elapsed since the data were entered, they shall be deleted from the Complaints Manager, unless the purpose of the storage is to leave evidence of the functioning of the prevention model for committing offences by the legal person. Complaints that have not been acted upon may only be recorded anonymously.

    You may exercise your data protection rights by sending a letter to the DPO by email or to the postal address of IFEMA MADRID, indicating 'Exercise of Rights Complaints Channel' as the subject.

    4.22. Thinkids

    For the celebration of the Thinkids Campus, IFEMA MADRID and the Thinkids Project will treat, as joint controllers for the processing, the personal data of the minors participating in the Fair as well as that of their parents or legal guardians in order to manage the registration and the celebration of the camp.

    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process this personal data is the execution of the existing contractual relationship and, for the processing of health data (food allergies and special care for minors due to illnesses), in addition, express consent. Likewise, express consent will be requested for the publication of photographs in different digital media (press releases, Social Networks or the IFEMA MADRID website).

    IFEMA MADRID will keep personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship, except when it is necessary to keep them to comply with legal provisions or administrative and/or judicial requirements. Likewise, in the event that the express consent for the publication of photographs where minors can be identified is withdrawn, these will be deleted or modified so that the minor cannot be identified.

    In the event that new purposes concur, IFEMA MADRID will obtain the consent of the interested party in advance, expressly and in accordance with the legally required form.

    4.23. Digital platform for the management of virtual communities and events (LiveConnect)

    IFEMA MADRID processes the personal data of people who voluntarily decide to form part of its virtual communities and events platform, called LiveConnect. Within the framework of these communities, the opportunity is given to interact with other users by participating in forums, accessing the contents published by their participants (exhibitors, visitors, speakers, general public depending on the format) or participating in any of the activities created for the group in question.

    The basic data required to join the communities are name, surname(s) and email address. After registration, each user can complete their profile with other personal data such as alias, phone number, ID number, country, date of birth, image (you can upload a photo voluntarily), place of residence and interests. Each user may freely decide what personal information they want to complete on their profile and also decide at any time whether or not to display it to the rest of the LiveConnect members. Joining the LiveConnect platform allows you to meet people with whom you share interests, as well as to contact each other through messaging if you freely choose to activate this function.

    Within some communities, it is possible for the people and companies that form part of them to make their products and services known through the platform under the conditions explained in the section ‘IFEMA MADRID Platform Conditions of Use’.

    The legal basis that allows IFEMA MADRID to process the data provided is the consent of each user when registering with LiveConnect and the contractual relationship that exists with exhibitors and professional visitors that arises when registering for an IFEMA MADRID trade fair. The personal data provided will be kept for as long as you do not withdraw your consent to this processing, without prejudice to your right of erasure or to object and, in any case, during the statute of limitations periods required by the legislation in force. If you do not wish to receive the newsletters on the communities, you can unsubscribe at any time. In addition, the platform has implemented a push notification system, a feature that can be freely activated and deactivated.

  1. Transfer of data to third parties

    IFEMA MADRID may communicate your personal data to third parties for legitimate reasons and in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations.
    Any communication of your data will be subject to your prior knowledge and consent, in which case you will be informed about the recipient’s data, the purposes of the communication, as well as any other relevant information as required by applicable regulations. In particular, you will be informed about whether the person to whom your data is communicated is located in a country that does not guarantee an adequate level of protection for your personal data.

    Thus, IFEMA MADRID will only communicate personal data when it is necessary to carry out any of the purposes described in the previous sections or in the event of legal obligation. Data may be communicated to:

    • Public, administrative or legal authorities, if requested to do so or when required to do so by law;
    • Payment service providers where necessary (including payment gateways, financial institutions, banks, etc.);
    • Postal service providers, if it is necessary to deliver goods;
    • Service providers of IT infrastructures or tools (hosting providers, CRMs, email service companies, etc.)

    Cases of communication of personal data are not considered those in which IFEMA MADRID commissions a third party (e.g., hosting personal data on a server). These cases will be duly regulated through the signing agreements with the data processor.

    Likewise, take into account that a law may require the obligation for IFEMA MADRID to communicate your personal data to a judicial or administrative authority or for any other legally established reason.

    Finally, please, we invite you to review section 4.5 of this Privacy Policy in relation to the communication of personal data to digital platforms for the purpose of sending segmented advertising.

  1. International transfers

    We inform you that IFEMA MADRID makes international transfers on certain occasions to recipients established in countries outside the European Economic Area (that is, the countries of the European Union plus Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway).

    For the optimum provision of the services offered by IFEMA MADRID, other third-party service providers of the Institution may be required to access the personal data of our clients (whether exhibitors, trade visitors or members of the public) and/or users of our websites as data processors. This happens, for example, when we sign contracts with third party developers, if we need to use service providers who do processing outside the European Economic Area or in countries that have not been declared as having an adequate level of protection and, in particular, your data could be communicated to our IFEMA MADRID Offices assigned to the country of origin of the visitor or exhibitor, which you can find out in the “IFEMA MADRID International” space on our website. As an example, IFEMA MADRID has representatives of the Institution in the following countries: Algeria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Bhutan, Chile, China, Colombia, South Korea, Guatemala, Hong Kong, San Marino, Japan, India, Morocco, Mexico, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tunisia, and Turkey.

    In any case, IFEMA MADRID has adopted adequate guarantees to ensure the security and legitimate interest of processing your data, given that these transfers are based on the signing of standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission with all service providers in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, or if any of the exceptions set out in regulations are met.

  2. Rights regarding the processing of your personal data

    The legislation recognizes various rights in relation to the processing of your personal data. Such rights are the following:

    • Right to request access to your personal data;
    • Right to request the rectification of your personal data;
    • Right to delete your personal data;
    • Right to request the limitation of the processing of your personal data;
    • Right to oppose to the processing;
    • Right to portability of the data in question;
    • Right not to be subject to automated individual decisions, including profiling; and
    • Right to withdraw consent at any time.

    These rights can be exercised in several ways:

    • By sending a written communication indicating in the subject: "Exercise of Rights", name and ID number of the sender to the following address: Avda. del Partenón, 5 (28042) of Madrid.

    In any of these cases, and in order to properly preserve your personal data, we must confirm your identity, either by asking for identification or confirmation of any of your personal data.
