In 2023, IFEMA MADRID once again establishes its position as leader in the calendar of international trade fairs in Spain
A total of 37 international trade fairs will be held at IFEMA MADRID this year, as published by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism in the Official Calendar of International Trade Fairs.
Madrid accounts for 35% of the national share, followed by Barcelona (30%); Valencia (9%), and Saragossa (8%).
Once again, IFEMA MADRID will be leading the calendar of international trade fairs to be held in Spain in 2023, confirming its recognition as the Best Convention Centre in Europe, and reinforcing Madrid as the world's top destination for MICE events in all economic sectors.
A total of 37 international trade fairs will be held at IFEMA MADRID throughout the year. A figure that firmly positions Madrid as the Spanish city where most international trade fairs will be held in 2023, according to the latest resolution of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, through the Secretary of State for Trade, coinciding on this occasion with the number of international trade fairs held at the IFEMA MADRID venues.
In this respect, the Spanish capital leads the national share, hosting 35% of these events, ahead of other important Spanish cities such as Barcelona (30%); Valencia (9%) and Zaragoza (8%). This calendar thus includes a total of 105 international trade fairs to be held in Spain in 2023.
This year FITUR, to take place at IFEMA MADRID, will be the first international trade fair to be held in the country. Furthermore, the calendar recovers the internationality of GR-EX, and the Organic Food Iberia and Eco Living Iberia trade fairs fall into this category. In addition to these, consolidated international trade fairs organised by IFEMA MADRID are now included, such as INTERGIFT, BISUTEX, MADRIDJOYA, MOMAD, PROMOGIFT, MBFWMadrid, GENERA, -Tecnova-PISCINAS, ARCOmadrid, Meat Attraction, IBERZOO+ PROPET, AULA, Salón Internacional de Postgrado y Formación Continua, Congreso RED+ INTERDIDAC, Expofranquicia, Fruit Attracton, Liber, Salón Look, Feriarte, SIMO Educación and the construction sector shows that comprise ePower&Building.
