Critical Communications World comes in November to IFEMA MADRID
The event will feature a wide range of conference and masterclass sessions, delivered by some of the most respected critical communications experts from across the world. Under the theme of ‘Protect, enhance, envision, advance’, topics will include ongoing national roll-outs of broadband for critical communications, the evolution of the TETRA standard and much more
- Registration has opened for Critical Communications World 2021, taking place at IFEMA in Madrid, from November 3-5 this year.
The event will also present the latest technological developments, with the biggest and best critical communications companies in the world showcasing their products on the exhibition floor.
As usual, CCW will bring together numerous stakeholders, including manufacturers, users, operators and government representatives. Those not able to travel to Madrid meanwhile will have the opportunity to get involved online, with the conference sessions being livestreamed for the first time ever.
This follows on from the success of Critical Communications Week and CCBitesize, virtual events which have taken place over the course of the past year. Online conference content will be available for a nominal fee, with exhibitors also being able to interact with visitors prior to the show through the fully featured networking platform.
Speaking of the event and its importance to the critical communications sector, TCCA chief executive Tony Gray said: “The past 12 months has been a difficult period for those operating in our sector, something which has been compounded by the inability to meet colleagues in person. With Critical Communications World now able to take place, that situation will soon be rectified.
“As anyone who has ever visited will know, CCW is a special event, with a central role in driving the sector forward and setting the future agenda. It facilitates global networking, while at the same time enabling those involved to experience cutting edge technology, best practice, and new ideas delivered from the conference stage. With the addition of this year’s online element, we expect CCW 2021 to be one of TCCA’s most successful shows.”
Alongside the online element, another new addition for 2021 will be the Government Authority Global Village. This will provide an exclusive forum for national critical communications projects from around the world to come together to discuss ideas and best practice.
With each national authority at different phase in their public safety communications programme, this new initiative is intended to provide the perfect platform for global stakeholders to combine and move forward together. It is designed to facilitate knowledge sharing and benchmarking, while also enabling organisations to shout about the great work carried out by them so far.
Also new for 2021 is the VR & AR Zone, which will explore how virtual and augmented reality is being used across a range of mission critical verticals. The zone will bring together the leading companies and suppliers in the field, enabling visitors to witness live demonstrations illustrating the potential benefits of the technology when it comes training, crime scene investigation and so on.
CCW possesses a long and storeyed history of galvanising the sector and moving it forward into the future. Nowhere is this truer than in the aforementioned exhibition, which enables users and suppliers to network in a way which just wouldn’t be available to them in any other environment. Regular attendees include Motorola Solutions, Airbus, Ericsson, Nokia and many more.
Speaking of their experience at the event, a spokesperson from Airbus said: “The main reason for our customers to visit Critical Communications World is to experience new solutions and innovations live with their own hands and eyes. The event also enables them to have conversations with top experts in the field. We at Airbus are excited to finally meet in-person with customers, prospects and partners, and present our new solutions.”
Discussing the show from the user perspective, DSB Director of Department for Emergency Communication, Sigurd Heier, said: “CCW is the most important event for mission critical communications, where industry and users meet and share experiences. I am really looking forward to meeting and talking to international colleagues in Madrid."
Taking place in the beautiful and historic city of Madrid, Critical Communications World 2021 is the must-visit event for anyone with an interest in this life saving technology. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to experience this year’s prestigious International Critical Communications Awards ceremony, taking place on the first night of the event, just down the road at the remarkable Casino de Madrid.
