EXPODENTAL SCIENTIFIC CONGRESS will be the first multidisciplinary dental congress, organised by IFEMA Madrid and Brand Comunicación, and promoted by the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies (Fenin), next 24 to 26 June. In parallel to the scientific programme, attendees will get to know and try out some of the latest advances, products and solutions presented by nearly a hundred companies in the exhibition area. The exhibition will be showcasing the industry’s capacity to innovate, and its strong commitment to technology, digitalisation, and all the equipment clinics and laboratories need, among many other proposals aimed at improving the work of dentists and the quality of service to patients.
Sustainability will also be a central theme for many of the stands, along with solutions for communications, marketing and business management and the professional training that the sector always needs.
The new developments that participating companies have already announced include technological advances in medical equipment and tools to help dental professionals increase performance, expand their treatment capabilities, perform more procedures in the surgery, and improve patient care. Some of the innovative proposals for the sector on display include digital radiology integrated with CAD/CAM systems, the latest generation of intraoral scanners on the market, 3D printers, X-ray units for 2D and 3D imaging, which allow increasingly accurate diagnosis, advanced imaging software, and virtual monitoring solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to supervise all treatments remotely, from all brands of aligners and brackets to retention and hygiene.
In the orthodontics field, exhibitors will present innovations including the comfort, aesthetics and hygiene benefits of invisible aligners and a range of invisible aligners with breakthrough technology and smart materials composition to improve sustainability and reduce environmental impact to zero.
There will also be the latest innovations in implants, materials and designs for controlled insertion in sockets in particular anatomical situations, such as those with limited prosthetic space.
There will also be a wide range of precision medical devices for prevention and treatment of periodontal diseases, a comprehensive range of biomaterials for restorative surgery and tissue remodelling; magnification lines, such as magnifiers that allow perfect ergonomic posture, and new dental microscope models with filter systems and wide limit viewing modes; electronic anaesthesia syringes; innovative products for sterilising and lubricating medical instruments made of fully recyclable materials, ergonomic chairs, and a portfolio of products necessary for the daily professional work: mouthwashes, specific toothpastes, specialised toothbrushes and interdental brushes, and more.

These platforms connect clinics with quality suppliers to substantially improve purchasing process management.
