The networks of Vehicle repair shops are central to the Spanish automotive aftermarket industry. On the 14 March, in the morning, MOTORTEC AUTOMECHANIKA MADRID 2019 will host a Shop Network Conference where they will analyse the current situation and the challenges for the future, in the upcoming era of new mobility and of the phenomenon of shop branding, which comprises some 80 different brands and 40 por ciento of the independent repair shops in Spain. The event, organised by Posventa Plural, just opened registration on its website: www.encuentroderedesmotortec.com. The event will be held within the 15th edition of Spain’s Leading International Trade Fair for the Automotive Industry, targeting trade visitors from the Iberian Peninsula, Latin America and North Africa, organised by IFEMA, to be held at Feria de Madrid, from 13 to 16 March 2019.

What do the Shop Networks currently contribute? What should they contribute in the era of new mobility? are some of the questions that will be discussed at the Posventa Plural Shop Network Conference, which has just opened for registration. The discussion will focus, on one hand, on the current efficiency and profitability of the shops that are members of the Networks, evaluation of the fulfilment of the purpose of the Networks in terms of brand awareness, technical qualification and customer and profit generation. On the other hand, the phenomena entailed by the paradigm of new mobility (new propulsion technologies, evolution of fleets as opposed to privately-owned vehicles, connected vehicle, self-driving, and new automotive uses) will be analysed, as well as the response by the Networks to help their member shops to adapt to all of these changes.

The Posventa Plural Shop Network Conference is aimed for shop managers and owners, fleet managers, brand-authorised aftermarket managers, managers of multi-brand shop networks, insurance and renting professionals, spare parts manufacturers and distributors, and professionals of companies providing product and service solutions for shops.

There will be two round table discussions during the conference, with industry specialists, and two studies will be presented on the current situation of Shop Networks. The study “Shop Network Brand Awareness and Perception”, by repair shops and drivers, produced by the consultancy company The Hub Automotive Insights, and another on The Digital Footprint of Shop Networks and its Impact on Drivers, by the multinational digital marketing specialist Tilomotion.
