Repair and parts distribution workshops for industrial vehicles saw improved activity and turnover in 2024, but little improvement in terms of profitability. That was the principal conclusion drawn from the now-traditional end-of-year online round table with the leading industrial vehicle post-sales associations, sponsored by MOTORTEC and organised by the Industrial Vehicle Post-sales Club. The trade fair, organised by IFEMA MADRID, will be held from 23 to 26 April 2025.

Participating in the event were Antonio Atienzar, President of the Industrial Vehicle Commission of CETRAA; Ana Ávila, Corporate Director of CONEPA; Carlos Martín, Secretary General of AERVI, and Pilar Fernández, President of the Industrial Vehicle Division of FACONAUTO.

Javier Sanz de Andino, Commercial Manager of MOTORTEC, explained the leading role industrial vehicle post-sales will have at the next edition of MOTORTEC 2025. For his part, the founder of the IV Post-sales Club, Jesús Figueroa, announced the commitment of the 50+ companies involved in MOTORTEC and gave a preview of some of the activities to take place at the Fair, like the 6th Meeting of Industrial Vehicle Workshops and Suppliers.

The aim of this new round table of IV post-sales associations, moderated by Raúl González, communications consultant in the automobiles sector and member of the Club, was to analyse the results obtained by the workshops and parts distributors in 2024 and identify the challenges facing IV post-sales companies in the short term.
