The show will be held from 23 to 26 April 2025, organised by IFEMA MADRID
MOTORTEC, the leading trade fair for the automotive aftermarket in Southern Europe, kicks off the marketing of its seventeenth edition, to be held from 23 to 26 April 2025, organised by IFEMA MADRID, with the recently formed Organising Committee made up of the sector's main associations and companies advising on the event.
The excellent results recorded in the last edition, held in April 2022, with more than 440 exhibiting companies, 1,200 brands, and more than 52,000 professionals, who once again confirmed the status of the event as the greatest automotive aftermarket event in Spain and Portugal these results are the best endorsement for this new event, which returns to its original name of MOTORTEC and for this edition comes with a new image. The highly specialised nature of the event is marked by the large number of workshop professionals in attendance - in 2022 more than 31,000, an increase of 3% - in addition to the high level of satisfaction, with exhibitor satisfaction rates of 89% and visitor satisfaction rates of 97%.
In its 2025 edition, the show will be particularly focused on improving its professional profile, through a wide range of actions aimed at exhibitors, conferences and experiences, as well as attracting the largest number of repair workshops, with the aim of exceeding the attendance figures in its next edition.
MOTORTEC 2025, which is expected to achieve record participation, is arousing great expectations in the sector, which has led IFEMA MADRID to reserve 100,000m2 distributed in a new configuration of 6 of the halls of its Exhibition Centre - 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 - to accommodate the wide range of national and international exhibitors that are expected to attend.
Aim: Strengthen national and international attendance
In this context, the event, with a view to its next campaign, plans to boost the attendance of large fleet operators, in collaboration with the main passenger car and commercial vehicle associations, as well as specialised tyre workshops, which are part of the main groups and networks, with the support of OPEN and ADINE.
The development of the Commercial Vehicle sector will also be undertaken, together with the V.I. Aftermarket Club and BOSCH, in the MOTORTRUCK area.
Training is to be one of the pillars of the next edition, so the trade fair will create the MOTORTEC ACADEMY. In this new space, the event aims to continue attracting new talent.
As such, at MOTORTEC 2025, the sectors of Circular Economy and Classic Car and Competition mechanics will also be promoted
For the implementation of all these initiatives, MOTORTEC will offer a series of specialised work groups: a workshop commission, a talent commission and a commercial vehicle commission.
Another of its strategic lines will be to further promote the international profile of the trade fair, establishing alliances with associations of manufacturers and distributors from other countries, especially Portugal, with which MOTORTEC has long maintained close relations. A line of action also being considered, among other initiatives, is organising group visits, and support for different sectoral meetings.
Professional Days and Dynamic Workshops
On the other hand, as usual, MOTORTEC will be scheduling a full agenda of Technical Conferences, which will run parallel to the trade show, providing a highly professional space for analysis and reflection, of particular interest to workshops and garages, with the collaboration of the associations of this important economic segment, and with the participation of high-level experts from all over the world.
For the occasion, MOTORTEC has planned new formats and dynamics to attract and encourage contact between manufacturers and workshops; Fun Zones, for vehicle workshops, and Teaching Classrooms, in conjunction with the manufacturers.
