MOTORTEC 2025 programmes an intense agenda of activities, exhibitions and new experiences
The Gala Dinner will feature the presentation of the Innovation Gallery Awards and the new MOTORTEC Passport, along with other new features of the event
IFEMA MADRID is preparing for the seventeenth edition of MOTORTEC, the leading trade fair for the automotive industry and the aftermarket in southern Europe. The event will feature an intensive schedule of conferences, activities, exhibitions and experiences, taking place from 23 to 26 April 2025.
The programme will include new competitions and mechanic contests, covering all technologies; new sponsorship areas, with innovative formats for immersive experiences; educational classrooms, with training and advice sessions on the most topical issues for workshops; new exhibitions of classic and competition cars and much more. The programme of activities, training and talent will be the largest area of the agenda to date, exceeding those of the last two editions by a significant margin.
One of the key highlights of the event will be the presentation of the Innovation Gallery awards at the Gala Dinner, which will be held at MOTORTEC. This will afford particular emphasis to innovation in the automotive aftermarket sector. The event will be attended by the main authorities of the Community and City Council of Madrid, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.
Furthermore, this edition will introduce the MOTORTEC Passport, which aims to provide visibility for both the Fair itself and the activities of the participating manufacturers, who have joined this initiative. There are three physical passports, each with three levels of difficulty. The accompanying tests and prizes for the winners are outlined below. The objective of this initiative, which is expected to engage approximately 20,000 workshop professionals, is to enhance the visitor experience at the Fair.
In the area of talent and training, competitions are scheduled to take place. These include the Best High Voltage Electric Vehicle Mechanic, organised by Carsmarobe; the Workshop MVP, organised by Autopos; the Young Automotive Technicians competition, organised by Comforp; the Future Commercial Vehicle Professionals Competition – Afupro –; and the MOTORTRUCK (Truck Challenge), for the best commercial vehicle mechanic.
In terms of knowledge and networking, the programme includes the Industrial Vehicle Auditorium (workshops, conferences and meetings of workshops and fleets VI), the Circular Economy Conference, EESS (meeting of workshop networks), and sectoral conferences of the main associations of the sector and different exhibitors.
Furthermore, the event will feature Fun Zones, which will include sponsored corners and the MOTORTEC Gran Prix (VR Simulator competition). Additionally, there will be two classic car exhibitions and exhibitions showcasing Formula 1 and Moto GP.
