Expertise and Headlights Competition- CESVIMAP

We are pleased to announce the 3rd Vehicle Damage Assessment Competition, organised by CESVIMAP and APCAS (Association of Insurance Loss Adjusters and Loss Adjusters)!

All those attending Motortec in 2025 will see in this initiative a way to give visibility to the activity of collision damage valuation in automobiles that both workshops and experts carry out on a regular basis.

This exciting event will take place on 24 April 2025, from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.

This exciting event will take place on 25 April 2025, from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Event Description:

This exciting competition, organised by CESVIMAP, will take place during the Motortec trade fair and is designed to test participants' skills in headlight temple repair. The contestants will use state-of-the-art tools and equipment provided by CESVIMAP to carry out the repairs, in a competitive and professional environment.

Evaluation criteria:

CESVIMAP will evaluate participants on the basis of the following criteria:

• Preparation and handling of tools
• Surface preparation
• Staple repair process
• Repair process using welding
• Time spent on repair.
• Final finish of the repair.
