MBFWMadrid presents its proposal for Cibelespacio: A groundbreaking area that combines fashion, art and gastronomy

As we approach the 80th edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, the schedule of activities for the area known as Cibelespacio has been unveiled. This area will host a cocktail of activities organised within the Cibelfest zone and those curated by the sponsors of MBFWMadrid.
Cibelfest
With innovative initiatives spanning not just the fashion world but also disciplines such as music, art, and Artificial Intelligence, this open space will create an experiential and inspiring atmosphere.
Surrounded by a giant screen for front-row viewing of the runway shows, attendees will enjoy live music from top DJs and emerging artists, captivating performances, masterclasses, and the opportunity to savour a variety of dishes, share experiences, and discover the latest trends from leading designers.
This year, inspired by the universe and the cosmos, the Cibelfest area will feature a diverse programme throughout the catwalk days, complemented by various food and refreshment stations. Through Fashion Talks, designers and fashion leaders will share their inspirations, colours, storytelling of their collections, as well as talking about protocols, colorimetry or designs, among other topics. Attendees can look forward to engaging talks, including ‘La calle manda’ (The Street Rules) on Thursday, 12 September at 16.45, ‘Cada estilo, un personaje’ (Every Style, a Character) on Friday, 13 September at 16.45, ‘Perfiles 360 en el mundo de la moda’ (360 Profiles in the Fashion World) on Saturday, 14 September at 11.45, and ‘Nuevas siluetas y materiales no convencionales’ (New Silhouettes and Unconventional Materials) on Sunday, 15 September at 14.00.
Moreover, the best performances will grace this space with the Fashion Performances, showcasing the magic of dance, acrobatics, and set design, using elements from Cibelfest while also involving the audience present.
Music will also play a vital role in this gathering with Fashion Sounds, which will energise the space with live shows from top emerging artists in the music world closely linked to fashion. Highlights of the lineup include singer-songwriter Poncelam and DJ Alexia Rodríguez ‘Lexius’ on Thursday, 12 September. Urban pop artist Menend will present his album ‘Secuelas’ on Friday, 13 September. Also performing will be the fashion-loving singer and actress Manuela Vellés on Saturday, 14 September, and multidisciplinary artist Cristalino on Sunday, 15 September. An Immersive and Amazing Programme at Cibelespacio
In addition to these initiatives, there will be even more surprises that will make this event a true catalyst for creativity and fashion. Mercedes-Benz, the event's main sponsor, will showcase one of its iconic models. This tribute continues with an interactive retrospective that revisits its legendary convertibles alongside the most notable looks and catwalks in the history of MBFWMadrid to the present day. Additionally, the stand will feature an official boutique, allowing visitors to acquire a memorable keepsake from the brand.
Meanwhile, at the L’Oréal Paris stand, attendees will discover the brand's history and the essence of its iconic slogan, linked to female empowerment, through an immersive tunnel called "Backstage." Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to try out the makeup stations and engage in a range of activities, including signing the wall mirror with the phrase “Because I’m Worth It.”
Allianz EGO’s creative space invites attendees to unleash their creativity through workshops led by industry professionals. Among the initiatives are the creation of personalised jewellery, transforming and enhancing a crochet garment, and experimenting with creative makeup. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to check out the latest trends at the Allianz EGO Showroom.
As part of Cibelfest, Iberia, in collaboration with Teresa Helbig, will unveil on 13 September at 11.45 a.m. all the details of the presentation of the designer's collection "1832 sur mer" for FW24/25. The fashion show, organised by Iberia, took place on 7 March in Paris, marking the designer’s first presentation in the French capital following her recognition as the winner of the National Fashion Design Award 2023.
Additionally, MÓ, in collaboration with designer Alejandro Gómez Palomo, will present their fifth joint collection called PALOMÓ FW24 at the event. The stand will feature a photo booth inspired by the collection, characterised by a futuristic aesthetic and silver tones, where the glasses and accessories from this collaboration will be available for purchase. Furthermore, a Fashion Talk will be held on Thursday, 12 September, featuring designer Alejandro Palomo and fashion consultant Chabela García, focusing on the themes of fashion and design.
Dorsia will have a stand with unique features, including a cinema ticket office in true ‘Old Hollywood’ style and a ‘Walk of Fame’ where visitors can create videos and photographs with the help of a glambot, an intelligent robot that generates audiovisual content on the spot. Attendees will also enjoy movie-style photocalls, giveaways, personalised messages, and even a dedicated Dorsia cinema, where they can watch various stories from the protagonists of their “Fue Dorsia” campaign.
At Málaga de Moda, there will be a signing event for T-shirts featuring an exclusive design by Álvaro Calafat, as well as the announcement of the David Delfín Award in collaboration with Javier López, director of La Térmica. Moreover, throughout the event, various activities, workshops, and dynamic demonstrations related to the world of fashion will take place.
The Government of Castilla y León will showcase the works of designers Rosana Largo and Baro Lucas, sharing their experiences, latest creations, and details of upcoming projects.
Refreshments will be provided by Schweppes, which will feature a bar and chill-out area offering a diverse cocktail menu. In this vein, Kellogg's invites everyone to enjoy its #PlacerCrujiente (#CrunchyPleasure) space at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid and to try its Extra granolas.
