L’Oréal Paris, Official Makeup Artist and Hairdresser for the 80th edition of MBFWMadrid, celebrates 25 years of sponsorship
For 25 years, L’Oréal Paris has supported Spanish fashion as one of the main sponsors of MBFWMadrid. It is also the official makeup artist and hairdresser for the event.
During Spanish Fashion Week, which will take place from 12 to 15 September at IFEMA MADRID, L’Oréal Paris—the world’s number one beauty brand, known for its innovative science in all its products and its commitment to empowering women regardless of their background or age—will work closely with leading Spanish designers to create the beauty trends for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2026 season.
Twenty-five years supporting Spanish fashion
L’Oréal Paris will celebrate its 25 years as a sponsor and the 50th edition of the L’Oréal Paris Awards during this event. This prestigious accolade is one of the leading awards in the industry, having recognised some of the most prominent and internationally acclaimed faces in design and fashion over the years.
To commemorate this significant milestone, the brand has created the video titled L’Oréal Paris: 25 Years Celebrating "Because You’re Worth It," featuring winners from the past 25 years, including designers Juan Duyos, Isabel Sanchís, and Juan Carlos Mesa, as well as models Lorena Durán, Verónica Blume, Natalia Sabe, Aya Güeye, and Madelaine Hjört.
This video, which highlights the brand's values such as diversity, female empowerment, and worth, will be presented at a press conference featuring Ana Rodríguez, director of MBFWMadrid; Isabel Sanchís and Paula Maiques who won the L’Oréal Paris Award for Best Collection in February 2023; and Verónica Blume, winner of the L’Oréal Paris Award for Best Model in February 2002.
This press conference will be the first event of this edition of MBFWMadrid and will take place on the catwalk in Hall 14.1 on 12 September at 10.00 a.m. The complete video will premiere on Saturday, 14 September, at 20:30, during the presentation of the L’Oréal Paris Awards for Best Model and Best Collection, and will be available on the brand's social media channels in Spain.
A "Because You're Worth It" stand
At the L’Oréal Paris stand located in Cibelespacio, attendees will have the opportunity to discover the history of L’Oréal Paris and the essence of its iconic slogan, closely tied to female empowerment and self-esteem, through an immersive tunnel called "Backstage: Because You're Worth It." This journey will highlight the brand's key milestones over the past 25 years within the Spanish fashion industry.
The "Backstage: "Because You're Worth It" experience will run for four hours each day, allowing visitors to participate at their convenience. During these sessions, a guide will explain the origins of the iconic slogan, which has been around for over 50 years, as well as initiatives that put women at the forefront, such as the Cannes Film Festival, the "Desfila tu Valía" (“Walk your Courage”) catwalk event held at MBFWMadrid, and the 25th anniversary of L’Oréal Paris's sponsorship and its 50 editions of awards in the country's most important fashion event.
Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to try out the latest L’Oréal Paris products at their makeup stations and engage in various interactive activities, such as signing the wall mirror with the phrase "Because You're Worth It," waving a flag featuring a Parisian backdrop, and personalising iconic products with their initials.
These activities are part of the most important fashion event in Spain, once again showcasing the seamless integration of beauty and fashion in the trend laboratory for the upcoming season.
