About Yolancris
The Value of Craftsmanship and the joy of Freedom
Yolancris is a Spanish brand specialising in the design and artisanal creation of luxury bridal, evening, and prêt-à-porter dresses. In 2005, sisters Yolanda (1978) and Cristina Pérez (1979) founded Yolancris as a new project, expanding the family business of wedding dresses that their mother, a pioneering, visionary, and entrepreneurial woman, had started in 1985.
This is how Yolanda and Cristina began their journey in the fashion world. Based on observation and experience, they identified an opportunity to disrupt the bridal and haute couture industry by offering handmade designs that challenge traditional norms. From this innovative vision, Yolancris began operations in 2005 with the launch of its first bridal collection, inspired by the boho chic concept. In 2008, the company introduced its first evening wear collection.
Yolancris boasts a team of highly skilled seamstresses and artisans who have been part of the company since its inception. Additionally, they manage a training school, reflecting the brand’s commitment to quality, precision, and local production. This craftsmanship takes place in the company’s own workshop in Barcelona. Since mid-2018, the company has also operated a boutique showroom in the city, located at Avenida Diagonal 508, where their clients can view and order all their creations. Yolancris participates in fashion weeks in Paris, New York, and Barcelona, and is present in over 30 countries. In 2019, Yolancris made its debut in Paris with the Opera Prima collection, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s journey to establish itself as a prominent name in haute couture. This inaugural debut marked the beginning of a new chapter in the brand’s history, establishing ties with the prestigious Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
We remain committed to our dedication to producing refined and sophisticated works that reflect the expertise of our artisans. The quality of our facilities, attention to detail, and customisation are reflected in the brand's over 60 collections to date.
In September 2024, Yolancris presented its first collection under the YC prêt-à-porter line at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, marking an unforgettable experience for the Yolancris team, as well as a new opportunity for professional growth and national recognition from the press and public.
“I don’t draw inspiration from anything; I follow my intuition! We are too accustomed to looking outward, but it’s time to embark on a journey inward without fear to discover who we truly are, our true identity,” says Yolanda Pérez, Creative Director of Yolancris.
COLLECTION LINES
YOLANCRIS BARCELONA, under its YC prêt-à-porter line, presents its new collection for the winter of 2026, reinterpreting the aesthetic codes of the Marquise Luisa Casati, one of the most iconic figures in the fashion and culture history of the early 20th century. An empowered woman who turned extravagance into a virtue and made her desire to "be a living work of art" a way of life.
Exploring the universe of this Italian aesthete with an avant-garde spirit, Yolancris' creative director, Yolanda Pérez, bases her proposal on a profusion of pieces marked by three of her constant sources of inspiration: the influence of Catalan Modernism, the free and transgressive energy of the 1970s, and the magic of master Mariano Fortuny.
Among the silhouettes, the collection highlights tunics and enveloping coats, 70s-inspired trousers, maxi blouses, and straight dresses with Art Deco touches in fabrics and materials that flow between leather and lace, worked with the pleating soleil technique; velvet and silk gauzes, and hand-embroidered ornamental details.
The functionality of the YC line plays a fundamental role in this collection, reaffirming YOLANCRIS' commitment to versatility, timeless elegance, and comfort, while maintaining the artisanal DNA of the brand, founded in 2005.
This proposal, inspired by the break with convention typical of the 1970s, turns everyday fashion into a form of freedom and self-expression, celebrating the strength and authenticity of the contemporary woman.
