Alineo Studio

Alineo Studio was founded in 2021 as the result of a final degree project, where “Disclosure” collection was presented. This marked the starting point that shaped the identity of the Alineo universe: garments that flow with the body as if they were part of nature itself. Each collection evokes mermaids and their magical world, the essence of Alineo. Over the past four years, the brand has evolved, giving life to the following collections: “Affair SS22”, winner of the Art Jove 2022 award from the Balearic Islands; “Mujeres del Agua SS23”; and most recently, “Aura SS25”, winner of the Allianz EGO Confidence in Fashion award. Alineo’s atelier is based in Mallorca, where garments are crafted with the purpose of awakening emotions in those who wear them.

“Mermaid Madrid”

In the depths of “Mermaid Madrid”, we dive into a journey of transformation that unfolds among currents, like a fish discovering an unknown reef. This collection explores the changes we undergo when venturing into unfamiliar waters, far from the comfort of our routines. Like a fish out of water, we strive to adapt, and in that process, we rediscover ourselves in unprecedented ways.

The collection navigates two tides. The first, high tide, marks the beginning of this immersive experience with the dreamlike state. Lingerie wraps the body of this amphibian, gradually transforming into workwear. Deconstructed and twisted, these pieces reflect the waves battling against the tide of work, embodying the fast-paced rhythm of daily life. The garments cling to the body like currents to a reef, with vibrant, lively colors mirroring the sun's brilliance on water. It’s an existence in overdrive, where currents pull us relentlessly.
As night falls, low tide emerges, calming the ocean and inviting us into its depths. In this second tide, each garment symbolizes liberation, like mermaids shedding their constraints and gliding toward freedom. Silhouettes soften, transparencies come to life, and fabrics transform into sea mists, accompanying this rebirth. We become creatures of the night, dancing among aquatic glimmers and embracing the boundless freedom of the deep.
