Álvaro Mallol: WAGO Iberia will present at MATELEC 2024
MATELEC 2024, which will be held from 5 to 8 November as part of the Semana Internacional de la Construcción, will provide an ideal platform for WAGO Iberia to showcase its latest offerings. The company has a significant presence within the Dicomat team and has recently expanded its operations in key regions, including Galicia, the Basque Country, Catalonia, Andalusia and Madrid. In the following interview, Álvaro Mallol, Managing Director of WAGO Iberia, also states that MATELEC “is the leading event for the electrical, electronic and automation sectors in industry and intelligent buildings.”
What makes this year’s MATELEC so crucial for WAGO Iberia?
WAGO Iberia will be present at MATELEC, showcasing its continued commitment to the industry. The company has made significant additions to its team, including new hires in key locations such as Galicia, the Basque Country, Catalonia, Andalusia, and Madrid. WAGO will launch of its largest-ever stand at MATELEC, the leading trade fair for electrical, electronic and automation technology in industry and intelligent buildings.
What products and services does your company currently offer?
The ideal electrical connection for both electrical installation and within switchboards and distribution boards. Our product range includes easily programmable controllers for automation in industry and intelligent buildings, which can be complemented with relays, power supplies, etc. We also provide engineering services and industrial programming support for our integrators.
What is new at this year’s MATELEC 2024?
The WAGO 221 series represents the latest addition to our range of electrical installation products. It features a 10-conductor terminal, extending the capabilities of our existing product line. Furthermore, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new electronic fuses with industrial communication and power supplies, as well as our latest products for IP67 automation. The terminals and connectors for industrial electronics are designed for ease of use, featuring a lever to open the connection in line with the original WAGO design.
