The Madrid Car Experience Show closes its doors after welcoming almost 50,000 visitors and selling more than 1,200 vehicles

The high demand for test drives, with more than 4,500 cars tested, boosted sales within the event and generated more than 5,000 leads. The event combined exhibition and retail aspects with experienced-based activities which allowed the public to focus on the details and sensations of new launches of the 28 participating brands, against a backdrop of entertainment, music and food.

Madrid successfully hosted its latest event in the world of motoring, the Madrid Car Experience, a new motor show positioned around the experienced-based sale and promotion of cars.  The triumph of the event is evident in the figures with which it closed its first edition, held from 22 to 26 May, after welcoming almost 50,000 visitors. Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy the latest launches in the motor industry, as well as to test performance and experience sensations through the more than 4,500 test drives of the different models on display.

With more than 408 accredited journalists present, Madrid Car Experience successfully united its potential as a showcase for exhibitions and sales, with its capacity as a platform to demonstrate the newest features of the 28 participating brands, some of which are a new presence on the domestic market. Electric vehicles and the new sustainable mobility stood out as a key unifying feature in which all brands have placed their current stakes.

Halls 1, 3 and 5 held the newest products of Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Astara, ByD, Citroën, Cupra, DS Automobiles, Ebro, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Kngloo, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, MG, Nissan, Omoda, Opel, Peugeot, Club Porsche España, Seat, Tesla and Volvo.

Among the key new vehicles presented were the Mazda CX-80 with e-Skyactiv engines in PHEV and diesel versions; Honda Jazz, Crosstar, Civic, HR-V, ZR-V and CR-V, e:Ny1 and Civic Type R; the MG MG3 Hybrid + and the IM LS6; the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Tonale and Tonale Plug-in Hybrid Q4; and the new ë-C3 by Citroën. Tesla also presented the Cybertruck, its large electric pick-up.

The Cupra Formentor and Leon models were shown; the DS 7 and DS 4 models, by DS Automobiles; Ebro presented its first SUVs, hybrid plug-in and combustion engines; the FIAT 500e and the Fiat 600e; the Ford Kuga, Tourneo Courier, Transit Courier and the Transit Custom; and Hyundai displayed its new Hyundai Tucson and  Hyundai Bayon models.

The Jaguar F-Pace 2.0 D I4; from Jeep the Avenger model; from Kngloo the Chinese electric vehicles Yudo 3; the Kia EV9 and EV6. Lexus with its new LBX; Mazda with its new CX-80 model; Nissan models JUKE, JUKE Ikon and the X-Trail Adventure; OMODA presented the 5 EV; Opel, Corsa Electric and Corsa Hybrid; Peugeot showed its E-208, E-2008, E-308, E-308 SW, E-3008, E-Rifter, E-Traveller, E-Partner, E-Expert, E-Boxer, E-408 and the E-5008 electric vehicles; and Volvo displayed its different electric models EX30, XC60 y XC90.

In addition the Outdoor Boxes which displayed technological and mobility based innovations and other features, the public could visit the Electric Indoor Boxes with useful information on energy efficiency, power on the road, details on battery charging, technological components and more. The event was complemented with the Electric Demo Show, the interactive guide to discover key aspects of electric cars, hybrids and plug-in hybrids: their function, features, driving modes, autonomy, types of charger and charging times.

Also on show was the exhibition of classic, sports and high-end cars at the Autobello Car Exhibition; the Offroad Experience Porsche offered by brand experts in these impressive vehicles; the latest generation simulator for Formula 1 and GT, SIM Racing Experience; and the Virtual Photocall Racing.

There was also room for music in the Music Experience area, with the participation of artists such as DJs David Álvarez from LOS40 and Jorge Sánchez from LOS40Classic, Biteme DJ, Jezz Espinoza, Jorge Bedoya, Strad, Zaza DJ, Lo que Diga Mi Señora, Novembre Electric, Bea Miau DJ, DJ Pedraza, Tangerine Flavour, Rola Rolingo and Chilover DJ.
