Shortlist for the 8th Edition of the Gift of the Year Awards
For this edition, the awards have been divided into nine categories: Eco Friendly, Lighting, Furniture, Christmas, Packing, Original Design Gift, Licensed Gift, Home Textiles, and Home Textiles . The winners will be announced on 13 September, at IFEMA MADRID, during the After Fair party.
The countdown has started to reveal the winners who will be honoured this year in the 8th edition of the Gift of the Year Awards. With over 70 applications received, a total of 27 companies have been selected as finalists for these awards, organised by the Regalo Fama Association in collaboration with Intergift, now in its eighth edition.
The winners of this latest edition will be announced on 13 September, at IFEMA MADRID, during the After Fair party. The following companies have been selected as finalists in their respective nine categories:

The winners will be selected from this shortlist of finalists and announced on 13 September 2024. They will receive a trophy during the award ceremony, which will take place on Friday, 13 September 2024, during the After Fair party that IFEMA MADRID hosts for all exhibitors.
The selection of finalists for the 8th Gift of the Year Awards has been made by a jury composed of a diverse group of professionals who, in objectively and with great expertise, have evaluated the products submitted based on criteria such as design, innovation, quality, sales potential, presentation and product image, sustainability, and respect for the environment.
A JURY OF SESASONED SECTPR PROFESSIONALS
Chema Martínez
Founding partner of 4homemenaje magazine and founding partner of Yestis Sales Team, an agency representing brands related to household products. He is a representative of the IHA (International Housewares Association for Spain and Portugal) and agent for Spain of its fair The Inspired Home Show, leading American fair held every year in Chicago.
Javier Miguel
Founder of the consulting firm FUTUROS DESEABLES, Javier Miguel specialises in Design, Marketing, and Innovation with a positive impact to build profitable and sustainable businesses and brands in the short and long term. Javier is listed as one of the top 40 futurists in Spain according to Forbes magazine and instructs at several universities and design schools.
Jaime Vallhonrat
Art Director and Branding Consultant at the John Pepe studio, which he founded in 2013. He collaborates with professionals from different fields on projects involving the creation and redesign of brands. The goal of the studio is to create authentic, inspiring, and relevant brands. He teaches at the Instituto Europeo di Design de Madrid, where he lectures on various subjects in the Product Design degree programme.
Paloma de la Puente de Ugarte
Partner and Sustainability Expert at Conese. Conese aims to support organisations in their evolution towards Meaningful Development; their assistance helps companies integrate environmental, social, and good governance aspects into their business strategy. Paloma has over 15 years of experience as a consultant and manager in the fields of sustainability and technologies applied to sustainable development. She also teaches in master's programmes and executive courses at various business schools, covering topics related to sustainability and technology.
