Iberzoo+Propet announces the exciting line-up of activities scheduled for its upcoming edition
• The 7th edition of IBERZOO+PROPET will be held from 15 to 17 March in Hall 10 at IFEMA MADRID.
• The 40th VetMadrid Congress, the 5th AEDPAC Forum, the Vet Employment Classroom, the Veterinary Classroom, and the Canine Styling Stage are among the main activities. • The Sector Evening will start at 18.30 on Thursday, 16 March, and will feature the Anton Awards, the Eureka Animal Protection Award, the Impulso Award, and the AMVAC Solidarity Award.
From 15 to 17 March, the 7th edition of IBERZOO+PROPET, the leading event for all kinds of professionals involved in the pet sector on the Iberian Peninsula will welcome exhibitors and visitors to Hall 10 at the Recinto Ferial of IFEMA MADRID. AMVAC and AEDPAC have worked hard to put together one of the most ambitious programmes in the event’s history, creating an exciting agenda of training opportunities for pet professionals.
The 40th VetMadrid Congress
Organised by AMVAC, the Madrid Association of Pet Veterinarians, the Congress will be held in the context of the fair in the North Convention Centre at IFEMA MADRID. The subject this time is “Immediate Medicine and Surgery”. It will comprise various training programmes, such as the Congress of Clinical Care Assistants in Veterinary Centres, the Congress of Animal Protection Organisations and the Business Training Congress. More than 3,000 professionals will attend the congresses and training seminars and participate in the recreational events that will take place at VetMadrid.
5th AEDPAC Forum
Likewise, the Spanish Association of the Pet Industry and Commerce is back with the 5th AEDPAC Forum with contents specifically aimed at the business channel in Hall 10 - on 15 and 16 March. There will be experts and specialists there to talk about trends and prospects in the pet care retail sector. The programme will feature debates, panel discussions and speeches on various subjects, such as attracting and keeping customers, the appearance of investment funds and an analysis of opportunities in Ibero-American markets.
Vet Job School
Organised and delivered by AMVAC, this initiative aims to enhance attendees’ job prospects with talks and chats on joining the job market with all the main sector innovations. The event will take place in Hall 10 on all three days of the fair.
Veterinary School
This will feature presentations of the contents organised by AMVAC to update veterinary surgeons on sector innovations. This area will offer business training focused on the veterinary area by means of courses, workshops and events to develop business and management skills. The focus is interactive and collaborative, enabling participants to share their experiences and knowledge with their peers. Aula Veterinaria, the Veterinary School, is the place to find practical, latest-generation tools for achieving business success in today's veterinary market.
Canine Styling Stage and The Sector Evening
With the spotlight on canine styling and pet hygiene, the Canine Styling Stage will host masterclasses by Artero on coat maintenance, grooming with striping, and machine and blade maintenance courtesy. IV San Bernard, the leading European manufacturer of animal care products from Italy, will also be at Iberzoo+Propet for the first time ever with a presentation on dermacosmetics applied with ozone. At the same time, the ProCan Academy Seminars will show participants how to work with the comb-guided scissor technique with a theoretical explanation using a digital whiteboard. The events will take place on all three days of the fair.
The same stage will host the Antón Awards, the Eureka Animal Protection Award and the Impulso Award for entrepreneurs participating in the Innovation Gallery on Thursday, 16 March, at 18.30. It will be an important afternoon for the participants of the fair and for the organisation, which is keen to recognise the work carried out throughout the year by the protagonists of the sector in a relaxed atmosphere within the professional framework of the fair.
Innovation Gallery
The Iberzoo+Propet Gallery is an area of the fair consisting of urns and podiums that highlight the products that companies consider most relevant or innovative for visitors to the fair. The following companies will participate in this edition: Impulso Sparrow, Premium Pellets Spain PETS, GINQO, Puromenú, Inmunoferon Vet and eVetilea Resolmega. These six companies will be featured interactively on the official event website. While at the fair, the Outstanding Product Gallery will be an opportunity to see the products for yourself.
Innovation Guide
This is a digital collection of innovative products and services related to pet food, equipment, technology, and care. Exhibiting companies can apply to include up to three products, which will be evaluated by a Selection Committee for possible inclusion in the guide.
Artero Seminars
In addition, Artero will once again organise its Dog Grooming Conference in the South Auditorium at IFEMA MADRID, from Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 March. The Artero team is ready with a new Artero Conference, known as The Best International Grooming Show, which will feature 17 highly renowned international speakers and 20 presentations on the most popular cuts and grooming techniques. In addition, the Artero Awards will be handed out to recognise effort and dedication to the profession, following the best groomers for their day-to-day merits, ambition and attitude.
