The Iberzoo Propet 2025 Innovation Gallery will highlight advances in the pet industry, covering areas such as health, wellness, hygiene, grooming and food. It will also feature new technologies for interacting with pets, such as toys and tracking devices, as well as improvements in product distribution, such as packaging.

In the exhibition space, innovative products will be displayed on podiums with the exhibitor's name, brand and booth information. This format will give visitors a clear view of the most advanced proposals in the sector.

In addition, a special press release will be distributed with details on sustainability, innovation and animal welfare, amplifying the impact of the Gallery on social networks and giving greater visibility to the participating companies.

Legal basis

Exhibiting companies wishing to present their products may participate in the IBERZOO PROPET 2025 GALLERY, provided that they comply with the requirements set out in these rules. The company assumes that the product it presents complies with all applicable legal and safety regulations.

The exhibiting company must have the marketing rights or the patent for the product to be presented or the express written agreement of the company that owns the patent.

Each company may present one product per brand, on separate sheets, provided that they meet all the requirements.

The products must belong to one of the sectors participating in the exhibition: products and accessories for pets, fashion and accessories, accessories or toys, food, pharmaceutical and health products, hygiene and beauty, aquarophilia-terrarophilia, equipment for pet shops, equipment for veterinary clinics. The company must indicate the main sector of the product.

The products and services presented:

  • They must have been conceived to reach the market.
  • The submission of research projects is explicitly excluded.
  • The products must not be marketed or, if they are not, they must have started to be marketed after 1 January 2024.
  • They must be innovative in nature.
  • They must comply with the regulations applicable to each case.
  • For the purposes of these rules, ‘innovative’ is defined as any quality of products, equipment or services which involves a technological, design or instrumental contribution and which generates value and which has an impact on the health and welfare of companion animals or on the work of the professional ...

The criteria for the selection and evaluation of applications to participate in the Gallery will be established and carried out anonymously, individually and independently by the Committee of Experts, which will take into consideration the following:

  • Degree of innovation (progress and originality).
  • Scientific and technical quality and impact.
  • Technical feasibility of the proposal and scalability.
  • Market need, economic opportunities and potential for commercial success.
  • Applicability and functionality.
  • Quality of the information provided.
  • Social relevance.
  • Other criteria considered relevant and appropriate by the Committee of Experts.

Products and services must be submitted in one of the following categories:

  • Food and nutrition
  • Hygiene and beauty
  • Equipment for clinics
  • Complements and accessories for pets
  • Pharmaceutical products
  • The presentation of each product has a cost of 347€ and will be done through the Registration Form highlighting the aspect to be highlighted of the product and the rest of the requested data. Each presentation form must be accompanied by informative or descriptive material of the product/service in Spanish or accompanied by a translation if it is published in another language.
  • It is an essential requirement to have the marketing rights or the patent for the product being presented or the express written consent of the company that owns the patent.
  • It is optional to present other additional materials such as informative or descriptive material of the product (printed, audiovisual or computerised information), in Spanish or accompanied by a translation if it is published in another language. This material will not be returned to the participant.
  • The participating company must provide a certificate indicating, if applicable, that the product or service is being marketed, and the date on which the product or service is being marketed.
  • Each participant may submit more than one product, on separate sheets, provided that they meet all the requirements. The same product may only be submitted once and in only one category.

The Committee of Experts of the Innovation Gallery will be made up of professionals from the sector of recognised prestige. No member of the Committee of Experts may be linked to any of the products presented or to any of the participating companies.

The functions of the Committee of Experts are as follows:

  • To analyse the different applications.
  • To evaluate each product or service anonymously, individually and independently.
  • To select the products or services that will form part of the innovation gallery.
  • To guarantee the confidentiality of the information received and analysed.

The IBERZOO-PROPET Management, acting as secretary, will draw up a final report that will include the decision on the selected products or services.

The decision of the Committee of Experts will be final.

The selected products and services will be displayed in poster format, and the company, organisation or entity responsible will be required to present them.

  • Deadline for application to participate in the Innovation Gallery: 20 December 2024.
  • Communication to the participants of the result of the selection process: 26 January 2025.
  • The selection of products for the Innovation Gallery will be made public in advance of IBERZOO PROPET 2025.
  1. The exhibition organisers will be responsible for the overall fitting out of the gallery, as well as the design and organisation. It shall also decide on the location of the product at the fair, according to criteria of space suitability.
  2. The product must be able to be exhibited on the podium.
  3. The organisers cannot be held responsible for the deterioration or theft of the products on display.
  4. Each brand may have a maximum of one podium.
  5. The company is responsible for the veracity of the information provided about the product exhibited.
  6. Applications to participate in this space will be dealt with in order of arrival and formalisation of the contract. Once the available space has been filled, no further requests will be accepted.
  7. Applications will not be accepted if they are not accompanied by information material, or after the deadline.
  8. IFEMA Madrid may cancel the creation of this space, in which case it will return the fees paid to the participating companies, without any claim on their part.
  9. The company will take the selected product to the space assigned to it in the Iberzoo Propet Gallery, the evening before the fair, and will remove it from that space after the end of the fair on Friday 28th February at 19:00 hrs.
  10. The selected projects will receive a return in communication, since, due to its wide media coverage, it will place the projects in a position of notable visibility in the media and social networks.

IBERZOO PROPET contributes with the Galería to project the image of this sector, committed to the health of pets and their quality of life. 

The products of exhibiting companies that stand out for their innovation, sustainability and contribution to animal welfare will be shown in a single space.
