GUEXT, the new International Exhibition of Suppliers and Services for the Hospitality Industry, is pleased to announce the opening of registration for professional visitors. Organised by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with FELAC, the Spanish Federation of Associations of Machinery Manufacturers for the Hospitality, Catering and Related Industries, GUEXT’s first event will take place from 18 to 21 October and will bring together professionals from the entire value chain of the hospitality sector. GUEXT is proud to announce its inaugural year, with the goal of becoming the leading B2B event for the hospitality industry and an industry stakeholders’ meeting point. The event will be attended by equipment manufacturers and importers for the hotel and catering industry on the supply side, and by distributors, installers, specifiers and end customers. These include professionals from the catering, hotel and catering and community sectors, among others.
The comprehensive exhibition showcase, encompassing equipment and machinery, installations and infrastructures, design and interior design, hospitality services, technology and management sectors, will be enhanced by a robust activities programme, comprising technical conferences and workshops on a range of topics.
Activities, Workshops and Technical Conferences Agenda
The show will feature a variety of content and spaces, including the GUEXT Forum, which will host various keynote speeches and round tables with experts who will address the issues that are redefining the hospitality industry, such as sustainability, digitisation, technology, training and customer experience. Furthermore, there will be specific for in-sector distributors and installers conferences.
The Innovation Gallery will showcase the most innovative products and services presented by exhibitors. A professional jury will select the winner of the 'GUEXT 2024 Best Innovation Product Award'. The award recognises the industry’s investment, research and development.
CoffeeXperience: the Latest Trends in Coffee Drinking and Brewing.
Finally, reflecting coffee’s importance in the hospitality industry and a growing demand driven by the latest coffee consumption trends and the interest in exploring different varieties, all players in the coffee industry will play a leading role at GUEXT. The fair will feature a dedicated CoffeeXperience area, which will host a range of activities, including tastings, practical barista workshops and Lattè Art competitions.
