Latte Art Grading System: official certifications and competitions at Guext

The Latte Art Grading System is a method to evaluate the technical capacity of baristas in Latte Art skills across six levels, known as ‘grades’, each represented by a different colour: white, orange, green, red, black and gold. Each level reflects the specific skills which the baristas must master and demonstrate during the qualifying exams, offering a clear progression of their professional development in latte art

Thus, all professional baristas wishing to certify their technical skills in latte art will have the unique opportunity to do so at Guext by registering through this link : https://forms.gle/Uo2Zd5V4ZVpCmWsAA

As well as the certifications, professional baristas can register for free for the “Latte Art Battles” to demonstrate their skills and creativity in drinks creation before experts and visitors. Places are limited and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. https://forms.gle/XHrjf4Ccvpi7C3iH9

CoffeeXperience, committed to training at the hand of the best baristas

CoffeeXperience also reaffirms its commitment to coffee excellence through training. Barista Pills will therefore offer masterclasses by professional baristas on best practices in the use of equipment and accessories for the preparation and achievement of the best results when brewing the best coffee. The Barista School will also bring together hotel and catering schools so that students can enjoy an experience directly related to coffee making with expert baristas.

Finally, CoffeeXperience will have a Cupping Area where attendees can take part in tastings directed by green coffee producers and importers, learning to differentiate between the different flavours.

Through this wide range of activities, CoffeeXperience will, from 18 to 21 October, from 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., transform Hall 4 of IFEMA MADRID into the focal point for coffee professionals and the hospitality sector.
