Unijepol and FETEVI convene the National Seminar on Road Safety Education for Local Police at Global Mobility Call

Participation in the Seminar is free of charge and includes free access to Global Mobility Call

Within the framework of Global Mobility Call, held from 19 to 21 November at IFEMA MADRID, Unijepol and FETEVI has organised the first National Seminar on Road Safety Education for Local Police. The event, which is free to attend and with free access to the fair, will be held on 19 November between 10:00 and 14:15 within the Traffic Forum, in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and the Directorate-General of Traffic (DGT).

The Seminar brings together experts in road safety and education who will share their experience and knowledge on key issues such as the importance of continuous road safety training, current challenges for local police forces on how to improve accident prevention strategies. In addition, the National Distinctions for Road Safety Education for Local Police will be awarded during the event.

Organised by IFEMA MADRID together with Smobhub, Global Mobility Call is consolidating its position as the international meeting point that will shape the future of sustainable mobility. In addition to the support of the Directorate-General of Traffic (DGT) and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), this event is sponsored by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, with the collaboration of the Region of Madrid and the Madrid City Council. The event also enjoys the backing of a number of significant partners, including leading companies and public bodies, most employers' associations, Spanish and international sectoral associations and large companies.

Programme of the Local Police National Seminar on Road Safety

10.30 a.m. Opening ceremony. Participants include Pascual Martínez Cuesta, national president of Unijepol; José López Muñoz, president of the State Federation of Road Safety Education Technicians (FETEVI); Jesús Monclús González, director of the Prevention and Road Safety Area of Fundación MAPFRE; and Luis Martínez-Sicluna Sepúlveda, secretary general of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP). Accreditation will open at 10.00 a.m. on the same day.

11.15 a.m. Coffee break and visit to the commercial exhibition.

12.00 a.m. Presentations Panel: Francesc Esteban Amat, lecturer, holder of a Master's in Research and HR, Senior Practitioner Mentor (Emcc) CEO in SLP Training. Expert in the training of trainers for road safety. Introduced and coordinated by Federico Gómez Sáez, from the Executive Committee of Unijepol.

1.30 p.m. Award Ceremony for the National Road Safety Education Distinctions for Local Police. With the participation, among others, of Guillermo Magaz Pilar, Managing Director of AECA-ITV; Javier Llamazares Robles, President of FESVIAL; and Mar Cogollos Paja, Director of AESLEME. With the collaboration of: Julia González Calleja, Secretary for Road Safety Policies of the National Executive Committee of Unijepol.

2.15 p.m. Holding of the Grand Draw of the Convention and event close
