All the key points of the third day of Global Mobility Call 2024
The largest event on sustainable mobility reaches its final day with round tables on air transport, the Mediterranean and Atlantic corridors and the closing of the third edition of Global Mobility Call.
The last day of the third edition of Global Mobility Call will be marked this Thursday by the closing ceremony of the event, as well as round tables on air transport, the decarbonisation of the sector, the Mediterranean and Atlantic Corridors, among other activities that will address the future of sustainable mobility.
The conference "Towards Sustainable Mobility: Challenges and Opportunities of the PNIEC", sponsored by Avanza on the Main Stage, will analyse the current situation and the challenges of transport transformation in line with the objectives of the PNIEC. Later, the round table "Sustainability of Aerospace transport. How to make Spain the European leader in UAS", coordinated by Iberia, will address the approach of air transport towards a commitment to sustainability through the massive use of UAS.
Agora Connect will also address the challenges, changes and opportunities for more sustainable air transport at the meeting "Navigating towards the future: challenges and solutions for sustainable aviation", coordinated by ENAIRE. The conference "Building the Pillars: Infrastructures in the Energy Transition" led by Sistem, will provide information on the key elements needed to sustain the energy transition efforts. In the same space, SENASA is sponsoring the panel "Above and Beyond: Urban Air Mobility and New Urban Landscapes", which will discuss Urban Air Mobility (UAM) introducing air transport solutions such as drones and flying taxis.
The round table "Financing sustainable mobility: Challenges and opportunities" at the Ágora Inspire, sponsored by Alsa, will be attended by Álvaro Fernández Heredia, Secretary General for Sustainable Mobility of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility. In this auditorium, Iberdrola is coordinating the conference "Decarbonisation of heavy transport: Current milestones and the future", which will discuss the achievements made in the electrification of heavy transport. Meanwhile, José Antonio Sebastián, government commissioner for the Atlantic Corridor, and Josep Vicent Boira, commissioner for the Mediterranean Corridor, will take part in the talk "Mediterranean and Atlantic Corridors, key railway infrastructures", coordinated by ADIF.
The Ágora Alliance will host the round table "Successful cases of public-private collaboration in mobility environments", sponsored by Grupo Ruiz, in which successful cases of this type of collaboration will be presented. Later in this space, the conference "Mobility in transformation. Perspectives", sponsored by INECO, which will address elements of the transformation of mobility in recent years.
The day will conclude with the closing ceremony of Global Mobility Call 2024 on the Main Stage.
