The international meeting focuses on public-private collaboration to promote innovative projects that have an impact on mobility.
The international benchmark event on sustainable mobility, Global Mobility Call, organised by IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub, will hold its third edition from 19 to 21 November 2024, at the Madrid exhibition centre. The main stakeholders from all the industries involved, both from private sector and from the institutions and organisations, as well as prominent opinion leaders will be present at the gathering. The event will once again be aimed at boosting cutting-edge projects and solutions that promote the mobility of people and goods in a sustainable and efficient way, as well as stimulating debate on the challenges facing the sector.
This international meeting will offer a wide-ranging agenda of content and conferences by business and institutional leaders and experts from all over the world, as well as a specialised offer of services, solutions and projects that are already shaping the future of all economic sectors that have an impact on the development of safe, technological and sustainable mobility. Participants will have access to an environment in which the search for sustainable solutions will become a key issue along with others such as artificial intelligence, traffic management, electrification and urban logistics; issues of great relevance that are shaping the future of mobility at a global level.
Two differentiated areas for sharing knowledge
Global Mobility Call will consist of two differentiated settings for public and private actors to share information, experiences and knowledge. The GMC Expo will be the ideal showcase event for companies to present their latest innovations and offerings to the public, as well as other industry developments in terms of mobility. This space will provide the ultimate networking platform for the creation of new business opportunities, forming a meeting point and promoting public-private collaboration between public administrations and the business sector.
The GMC Congress will gather the sector's top international representatives to address issues such as the role of electrification and other alternative fuels in decarbonisation, the multimodality of transport and public transport, urban mobility, new infrastructures, as well as innovation, digitalisation and new technologies in the development of mobility, among others.
On this occasion, the core topics that will design the major content agenda on sustainable mobility will be as follows: 1.- The energy transition driving the transformation of mobility; 2.- Intermodal transport: a more efficient and sustainable vision of mobility; 3.- Public transport and shared mobility at the heart of urban mobility solutions; 4.- Smart mobility planning for more liveable cities and regions; 5.- The mobility revolution and its progress. Technological trends driving change; 6.- The transition of the automotive industry in a future scenario of high uncertainty; and 7.- Innovation for disruptive mobility.

Institutional support for sustainable mobility
For another year, Global Mobility Call has the support of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, and the collaboration of the Community of Madrid and Madrid City Council, as well as major partners including companies and public bodies, as well as Spanish and international sectoral associations. This strong institutional and business backing reflects the current concern for mobility that is adapted to today's needs and, consequently, promotes social welfare.
Global Mobility Call, organised by IFEMA MADRID together with Smobhub, aims to reaffirm its position as a benchmark event from 19 to 21 November 2024, forming the largest sustainable mobility hub in the world. This is an environment that fosters networking, promotes business, establishes strategic alliances, creates investment opportunities and broadens knowledge in the sector.
