Safe, inclusive and accessible mobility at the Global Mobility Call 2024

From 19 to 21 November at IFEMA MADRID, companies and organisations will promote their latest innovations in technology and services for road safety.

The exhibition area of Global Mobility Call will offer a wide range of companies who work to develop safe, inclusive and accessible mobility, through technological solutions, services and projects aimed at smart management of traffic and road safety.

From 19 to 21 November, the event organised by IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub will benefit from the presence of specialist firms, and will be held in parallel with the Traffic Forum lead by the Directorate General of Traffic, which, within the framework of the Global Mobility Call, promotes solutions to the challenges facing road traffic.

The event, with an expected attendance of around 10,000 professionals, will also be supported by sector associations, which, together with companies, will put forward advances in connectivity, digitalisation and efficient management of road safety, reinforcing areas such as infrastructure development, road safety, parking, last mile and urban mobility.

Technological development and management solutions

As part of their in-person participation, some of the exhibitors will present their main innovations in which technological development and innovation stand out, as well as solutions for the smart management of traffic.

Among the participants were Interlight, a specialist in road traffic-based research, engineering, manufacturing, marketing and development. Lector Visión with solutions for tracking vehicles: automatic numberplate recognitions, optical character recognition, high performance video analysis and specific electronics for video capture.

The organisation Madrid Calle 30 (owned by the City Council of Madrid) will present its work for the management and maintenance of the M-30. The company Long Xiang Export Import will promote its range of video surveillance, security, intruder and access control solutions.

Metalesa will present its new innovations related to the  development, manufacture and installation of equipment for transport and mobility infrastructures. The French company Nextérité will display their technological services, which will use AI algorithms  for better traffic management.

The company Servicios Urbanos Avanzados will present its specialist solutions to efficiently renovate and maintain paving, extending its useful life and improving road safety. Meanwhile, Targa Viasat Spain will do so with its satellite and IoT IT and telematics services for the safety and security of people, vehicles and goods.

Global Mobility Call is supported by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility and the collaboration of the Region of Madrid and Madrid City Council, and by major partners including companies and public bodies such as the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), the DGT, the vast majority of employers' associations and Spanish and international sectoral bodies. This strong institutional and business backing reflects the high level of attention and investment focused on safer, cleaner, connected and inclusive mobility.
