Genera, the International Energy and Environment Fair, is holding the year’s event with the support of IDAE, the main RTRP fund manager for the energy transition in Spain.

The fair will take place in pavilions 9 and 10 of IFEMA MADRID from 6 to 8 February.

GENERA, the International Energy and Environment Fair organised by IFEMA MADRID, will once again be attended by the IDAE. The IDAE is the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving, which reports to the Spanish Government's Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge. The IDAE is renewing and reinforcing its presence at this key event for the energy and environment sector on its 40th anniversary.

The IDAE will showcase the renewable energy value chain at its stand in pavilion 10, with the slogan ‘Energía para el cambio’ ['Energy for change']. The purpose of this platform is to enable the exchange of ideas and facilitate meetings to further progress in the new industrial, economic, and social era of ecological transition in Spain.

The space will address several topics, including the main factors driving the transformation of the energy system, identifying and capitalising on opportunities presented by the ecological transition, and learning from pioneering experiences in the deployment of renewables and energy efficiency. Additionally, information on the lines of aid from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (RTRP) managed by the IDAE will be provided.

Within this framework, GENERA celebrates a new year while maintaining the exponential growth of previous years. The event will feature 500 direct exhibitors and over 24,000m2 of exhibition space, showcasing a wide range of solutions involving valuable technologies for consulting and engineering, storage and charging for electric vehicles, and residential and industrial facilities.

Genera is to be held from 6 to 8 February 2024. Find all the information on the website
